💙💛 COMING TOGETHER FOR OUR COMMUNITY!

Rotarians from the Brooklyn Park Rotary Club were pleased to attend yesterday’s Brooklyn Park Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast!

The morning brought community members together for prayer, music, reflection, and fellowship, with a shared focus on gratitude and seeking wisdom and guidance for our community, state, and national leaders.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who care about Brooklyn Park and share a commitment to making our community a better place.

💙💛 SERVICE ABOVE SELF IN ACTION!

What a great morning giving back to our community! City of Brooklyn Park, MN - Local Government

Today, members of the Brooklyn Park Rotary Club, along with some very special volunteers, rolled up their sleeves for our Roadside Cleanup along 85th Avenue in Brooklyn Park!

👏 A BIG shout-out to Addie Finch Tessman, our Community Service Director, for coordinating today's service project! Before we got started, Addie took a few minutes to talk with our young volunteers about Rotary, what we do, and why giving back to your local community is so important. A wonderful reminder of what Service Above Self is all about!

🏈 Another HUGE thank you to Coach Paul and the six Champlin Park football players who joined us this morning! Not only are these young men part of a team that's currently 6-0 this season, but they're also showing what it means to be winners off the field! We loved having you join us!

And, of course, a big thank you to all our fellow Rotarians who came out to help make 85th Avenue a little cleaner and brighter!

🍕 After a morning of hard work, we wrapped things up with a stop at Broadway Bar & Pizza - Brooklyn Park — a fun way to end a great morning of community service!

💙💛 WHY JOIN ROTARY? HERE'S ONE GREAT REASON!

It's about giving back, building friendships, connecting generations, and making a difference right here in our own community.

Service Above Self. Create Lasting Impact.

That's what Rotary is all about! 💙💛

What a great way to start our Wednesday! 💙💛

The Brooklyn Park Rotary Club was pleased to welcome District Governor Leif Hagan Rotary District 5950, MN to our breakfast meeting this morning.

Leif shared his vision and Rotary Action Plan for 2026–2027, along with his theme for the year, “The Art of Rotary.” One message that especially stood out was “Rotary Brings the World Together!” — a wonderful reminder of the connections we make and the impact Rotary has both in our local communities and around the world. 🌎

There is a lot happening in Rotary! Coming up on October 24 is the World’s Largest Polio Walk at the Mall Of America, Minnesota, supporting Rotary’s continued commitment to ending polio. And looking ahead, Rotarians from around the world will gather in Barcelona, Spain, June 26–30, 2027, for the Rotary International Convention.

And even more exciting for us here in Minnesota — Leif talked about the Rotary International Convention coming to Minneapolis–St. Paul in May 2028! 💙
What an opportunity it will be to showcase MN! 💛

Thank you, Leif Hagen, for joining us this morning and for sharing your enthusiasm, energy and vision for the year ahead. We enjoyed having you at Brooklyn Park Rotary!

✨ And one final thought from Leif that we loved…

Where will the Rotary Journey take you? 🌎
