🚨 UPDATE | West Hill Road has been added to our 10.15 performance with Free Whenever at Park City Music Hall 🚨

West Hill Road is a genre-bending band based out of Connecticut. The band consists of a group of friends that began making short song snippets to post on social media. The snippets began to gain traction online, prompting the group to make the decision to finish & release the songs for the general public. The band officially formed at the beginning of 2024.

Many fans have described their shows as “lively, groovy, energetic and engaging.” Their set lists contain both smooth, melodic tunes like “Countdown” & “Don’t Leave” and upbeat, energetic records like “The Weekend” and “Waiting 4 Luv.”

Free Whenever’s music sits somewhere in between form (saguna) and formlessness (nirguna). The band’s guiding philosophy and approach to making music is rooted in the ancient practice of long-form improvisation. By submitting to the collective subconscious, raw feelings, sounds, and ideas emerge. This practice invites listeners to participate in the same state of mind at any time. It is universal psychedelic music.

Their self-recorded studio material is balanced and diverse. Hypnotic, conversational bass and guitar melodies float over a strong foundation of pulsating rhythms in a full synesthetic sound experience. Without allegiance to any one style they fuse vintage psychedelia, dub reggae, far eastern and African music, funk, soul, and more while their live shows blossom into areas that challenge the idea of what psychedelic music is.

Free Whenever is steadily making waves across the modern psychedelic music scene, sharing stages with artists like Karina Rykman, BALTHVS, TAUK, and Christian Kuria while bringing their dynamic live show to premier NYC venues such as Brooklyn Bowl and Sony Music Hall. The band has toured extensively throughout North America, performing from Miami to Vermont and across major cultural hubs including Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, and Washington D.C., building a dedicated following with their immersive, high-energy performances.

📣 9.25 | The Bros. Landreth with Madeleine Roger at Park City Music Hall 📣

7:00pm DOORS / 8:00pm SHOW 🎵

The Bros. Landreth are two-time JUNO Award winners from Winnipeg, known for their blend of guitar-driven, soulful, blood harmony roots music. The band, the core of which consists of brothers Dave and Joey Landreth, has earned critical acclaim and a dedicated audience for their heartfelt songs, inventive musicianship, and powerful performances. From their early days attending their father’s gigs as babies (“Mom would tuck us into a bassinet and slide us under the bar tables,” says Dave), the brothers have spent a lifetime touring rock clubs, theatres, and music festivals across North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia, including stand-out performances at Byron Bay Blues Festival in Australia and Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles. In 2023, a banner year for the band, Joey and Dave became Grammy-winning songwriters when Bonnie Raitt’s cover of their song, Made Up Mind (from their first album, Let it Lie), earned the Grammy for Americana Performance of the Year. The recognition was a fitting nod from one of their musical heroes, as their own music draws inspiration from the well-worn records of their childhood — Bonnie Raitt’s blues, Little Feat’s funky country-rock, Ry Cooder’s eclectic instrumentals, Lyle Lovett’s twangy traditionalism — culminating in a sound that salutes the past while planting its flag firmly in the present.

💥 9.24 | Sean O’Reilly Band with Riley Cotton at Park City Music Hall 💥

Sean O'Reilly is an indie folk-pop singer-songwriter whose music blends earthy storytelling with baroque instrumentation and dramatic vocal delivery. A self-taught harpist, pianist, producer, and mixer, O’Reilly’s latest EP, Hear My Heart, was entirely produced, mixed, and mastered in his home studio—resulting in a lush, emotionally rich sound.

Now, O’Reilly is bringing his signature brand of harp rock back to Black Rock, in a one-night-only performance featuring a special full band lineup assembled exclusively for this show. Together, they bring depth, energy, and drive to Sean’s cinematic, lyric-driven songs.

Riley Cotton Riley Cotton is a New England Music Award nominated singer/songwriter based in Hartford, CT. Cotton has been described as “…an old-school type of songwriter whose songs and performance are able to cross space and time to touch that part of your brain where love, loss, happiness, and longing all co-exist” (Chip McCabe, The Dad Metal Blog). While growing up in Texas, much of her musical taste was shaped by the voices of the women of country music who so boldly embraced the power of their belt and femininity in the face of an industry that did not embrace them. While writing her own music, Riley aspires to share her lived experiences with, take a stance on the issues that compel her, and utilize the masterful story telling mechanisms so prevalent in the music she grew up on.
