You’ve met Tom’s Studio Pocket Fountain Pen, but have you met all of its interchangeable nibs? They’re tipped with hard-wearing iridium and plated in a 14k gold for a super smooth writing experience with an elegant look. We carry six compatible nibs for different moods or styles.

The Zoom nib gives you the freedom to vary your line width simply by adjusting the angle of your pen to the page. From fine to double broad, and even extra-fine when reversed, it’s like having a whole toolbox of nibs in one. At a natural angle, the Zoom nib writes as a medium-broad and glides across the page with incredible smoothness. Perfect for expressive journaling, bold lettering, or experimenting with new techniques, the Zoom nib is made for curious writers who love to explore.

Fude means “brush” in Japanese. With its distinctive bent tip set at a 45-degree angle, the Fude nib allows you to control line width simply by adjusting the angle of the pen to the page – perfect for creating everything from bold, sweeping strokes to delicate, fine lines. This nib is perfect for those who prize experimentation over perfectionism. It’s the ideal nib for lettering enthusiasts, illustrators, or anyone looking to explore their artistic side.

The Architect nib is the opposite of the Italic nib, featuring a broad cross stroke and a thin down stroke. This nib is a BB (double broad), delivering beautiful line variation with strokes measuring around 1.2mm at their thickest (horizontal) and 0.3mm on the downstroke. For even greater versatility, you can flip the nib upside down to create super fine hairline strokes.

The Cursive BB Italic nib is specially designed to create stunning line variations with a double broad tip, making every stroke unique. The “cursive” in its name reflects the flowing, elegant script it produces, while the “BB” designation stands for “double broad,” meaning the nib creates lines twice as wide as a standard broad nib.

Features a smooth, rounded tip with slightly flattened sides, offering two distinct writing surfaces: a broader downstroke (approx. 1mm ± 0.1) and a fine horizontal stroke (as thin as 0.2mm).

The Extra Fine Semi-Flex is a beautiful extra fine fountain p

August was our busiest month to date, surpassing every holiday season. A lot of that had to do with Stationery Store Day (thank you Kristina!) and a number of other factors I’m going to give myself some credit for.

With that said, I did ZERO workshops or custom letterpress which I don’t love but it was nice to not work after hours every single day and enjoy whatever is left of this short, wet summer.

The biggest highlights were all the amazing people I met from all over the state and shop friends that showed up to help, buy me lunch, bring flowers or just spread their good energy.

I have a lot of good data to help me strategize for the last quarter of the year but I’m still overwhelmed with what’s to come. And that’s why I journal. To help visualize what’s useful and what just needs to be let go.

My usual tools: Mildliners, brush pens, Tombow mechanical pencil, rubber stamps, calendaring stickers and a Kakuno fountain pen.
