This morning at Nathan Benderson Park our Anna Maria Oyster Bar UTC General Manager Josh Wood and our Director of Creative Experiences & Culture Olivia D’Amico, participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb to honor those who lost their lives in the service of their neighbor.

To walk alongside others in our community and first responders is a reminder of our need to take care of one another. To build longer tables.

Today, on Jimmy Buffett Day, we remember the man who made island life a state of mind. His music has been part of so many good times and memories for so many of us, and his influence will always be felt here on the Gulf Coast. Fins up for JB, today and always.

Today we’re raising a margarita to the son of a son of a sailor, who inspired so much of what we do at the Oyster Bars. We are Parrotheads through and through, and today we’ll be wearing white sportcoats, singing songs we know by heart, while dreaming of beach houses on the moon.

Jimmy Buffett was an incredible creative talent whose legacy is so important: reminding us to be grateful for the good things in life - like oysters and beer - and to celebrate every moment. Cheers to you, JB 💙
