Feature board up and running for our Friday/weekend. Couple great features, with the pizza being a bit more photogenic than the S.O.S 😂. Speaking of the SOS though:

Thursday means prime rib, and we also have a nice garden fresh pizza for this summer heat. The caprese has a thin layer of marinara, shredded provolone, fresh mozzarella, basil, garlic and balsamic drizzle. Add on with any proteins you like, including pepperoni or chicken. Why not both?

Back in the saddle for the week with our normal Fried Cod basket that is available on Tuesday’s. Down to our last round of prime rib Philly burritos, which were a hit over the weekend.

Couple items of interest today. Last week we adjusted downward how much prime rib we prepared with back to school schedules, and like restaurant clockwork, that’s all anybody ordered and we were sold out in an hour and a half. Also we usually begin prime rib service at 5 pm, one hour after we open. So today we are aiming to have more prepared and the hope is we can have it available to go by 4 pm. Hope to see you tonight to help sell us out again!

We missed National Dog Day yesterday, and as they say every dog has his day. Today is for our bar mascot Benji, who loves to “load up” in his favorite humans truck. So while my son and I stacked the new wood for continued Smokey Deliciousness™️, he pouted in the parked truck in the driveway for 40 minutes

Features up and running for the start of this week. Oldie but a goodie with the Reuben nachos 🔥🔥🔥. Tender shredded corned beef and kraut topped with a rich & creamy Swiss cheese fondue.

Cheesecake is roasted pear with blackberry brandy sauce.

Our doors at 156 Canal Street SE in Bolivar open at 4 pm.

Plenty more pork, brisket, ribs and chicken as the days get a bit shorter. Still love the sound and smell of well seasoned wood rolling out of the dump trailer 🔥🔥🔥
