Our original Public House has been a vibrant fixture of the downtown Bend, Oregon scene since 1988. Not only were our very first beers brewed here – think Black Butte Porter and Jubelale – but we quickly became a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. While the beer speaks for itself through a total of 19 taps, our chefs also put the same quality and hand-crafted excellence into the cuisine. Our beer-centric menu features fresh ingredients, many sourced from local farmers, foragers and ranchers with whom the team has built strong relationships over the years. Most menu items are hand-crafted from scratch whenever possible, and several items are made with spent grain from the brewing process. Come visit us at Bend’s original brew pub and see where it all began.

Bend-La Pine teachers and first responders receive 25% off their entire bill at the downtown pub through the end of the month.

This Sunday, October 25th, 100% of proceeds from our 3 locations (downtown Bend Pub, Tasting Room at the brewery, and Portland Pub) will be donated to the Bend-La Pine School District & Silver Rail Recovery Fund..

Fresh hop season is here and we’re pretty damn excited about it. 😎🍺

Killer Coleman is our first fresh hop b**r of the year, brewed with fresh Centennial hops from Coleman Agriculture. Picked, loaded up, and into the whirlpool within hours. That’s how you capture all those bright citrus notes, floral aromatics, and fresh green hop flavors that only show up this time of year. 🤤 🍺

Fresh hop b**rs hit different, and this one’s drinking exactly how we hoped it would.

The Deschutes Brewery, Bend Public House wouldn't be the magical place it is without our wonderful co-owners! 🤘

We are going to highlight some of the rad individuals that makes the pub what it is! ✨️

Let's start off with Reese, EJ and Jonah...

EJ has moved from crushing it as a line cook to leading our front of house team. He has most recently been keeping our b**r lines clean and ensuring everyone has damn tasty b**r! Heck yes!

Reese does it all! She crushes the bar, serving, and our banquets. She brings the party and makes every event sparkle!

Jonah is typically running around the pub with whatever crazy shoes have called his name that day. Other than being a fashion icon, you will find him serving our wonderful guests or at your next banquet. We are so happy to have him back!

This trio makes the pub world go around! They put so much heart into everything that they do.
We are stoked to see their growth over the last year and are beyond excited to see what comes next for them at the pub 🤍
