Wednesday night an email was sent to everyone for staff to work at COTA.

It didn’t say what you would be doing.. it basically said “if you can’t take the heat, don’t sign up”

The last time I signed up, I was in the heat but I was making popcorn, easy peasy.

I signed up thinking it would be the same job 🤦🏽‍♀️

Honey,there were 5 of us loading all coolers with beer, soft drinks and water. I’m 5’8 and the coolers were below my knees, that meant I had to flop my big ass on the dirty pavement.

Lifting 24 packs of all of these beverages 🫪 for 8 hours 😩

I know people will judge me and say “oh my god she’s suppose to be a Christian” and that’s ok but I most definitely said , “f**k this” & “lord help me” at least a thousand times along with who was working along side me.

It was 1 man & us 4 woman.

By hour 6 I didn’t know if I wanted to laugh or cry. I think I did both.

At 44 this s**t is hardddddd for me.

I literally have to dig deep.

I never heard my mom complain & my dad most definitely didn’t complain.

I’m not even suppose to be in the heat because of my vitiligo but I haven’t seen any more spots pop up.

Friday through Sunday I’ll be back at COTA

48 hours in 3 days, it will probably be more.

I’m excited to see what my body can do.

This week I’m preparing my body. I’m trying to do everting right.

I worked Thursday through Saturday at COTA, it was hot but I had a blast! I acquired some amazing murch as well ❤️

The team made it through 3 frat parties this week and some of my staff worked multiple parties. I’m so grateful for my veterans but I’m also grateful for my new staff.

Every year I think, who will be okay working frat parties and who will fold 🤭 frat parties are not for the weak.

This is just the beginning! It’s going to be an amazing football season. Hook ‘em

All of my houses are so different 😂 you have the partiers but then you have the PARTIERS 🥳

People couldn’t believe as old as I am and I’ve never been to either venue 😂

I feel like I’ve been an entrepreneur since the age of 16. For my Senior trip we were going to Europe. My mom was a single parent at that time so I would sell blow pops and these Christmas ornaments my mom made by hand at school, I would walk door to door, at that time we had My Space. The ornaments sold like hot cakes.

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce also helped me. I mailed out a ton of letters to Hispanic business and they showed up for me.

Of the hundreds of Santa Clause ornaments my mom made by hand, I only have 4 left. I don’t think mom will ever make anymore do they are very precious to me.
The chocolate is 28 years old lol

It could probably break your tooth at this point.

I post these small tidbits of my life so that you can see that there is a real woman behind everything that you see.

It’s not smoke and mirrors.
