Pamela and I will be playing 9 PMโ€“1 AM in one of Austinโ€™s classic underground jazz rooms โ€” the kind of intimate, late-night listening space where the cityโ€™s real music culture comes alive.

And thereโ€™s a nice full-circle connection: Pamela and I are also part of Austin Jazz Societyโ€™s โ€œ๐ด๐‘ข๐‘ ๐‘ก๐‘–๐‘› ๐ฝ๐‘Ž๐‘ง๐‘ง ๐ฟ๐‘’๐‘”๐‘’๐‘›๐‘‘๐‘ โ€ celebration next Wednesday at Monks Jazz, honoring four years of "Midweek at Monks".
