Today I sent a public-interest notice and informal claim regarding the Asheville Police Department’s conduct toward me, Tiger Mountain, and the surrounding community.

This is not simply a private business dispute. My concern is broader: alleged defamation, civil-rights violations, racially discriminatory enforcement, public-safety failures, and the destruction of a community space that welcomed people across Asheville.

I have requested that relevant officials and parties preserve records connected to APD’s actions, statements, investigations, and communications involving Tiger Mountain.

I am not seeking any private resolution that buries the public-interest concerns. I will not agree to confidentiality, non-disparagement, or private-resolution terms that prevent good-faith public discussion of APD misconduct, civil-rights concerns, or public-safety failures.

Only open, honest, and transparent review can help Asheville become a whole and complete community.

This is about accountability, truth, and safety for us all.

Nationally, Asheville is often characterized by a sharp contrast between its progressive reputation and significant racial disparities. While it gained national attention in 2020 as the first Southern city to back reparations for its Black residents, it also consistently ranks among the most racially unequal cities in the U.S. across several key metrics.

Specific national and regional rankings include:

Economic Inequality: A study found Asheville to be the 2nd worst-paying midsize metro for racial minorities in the U.S.. Minority workers earn an adjusted median of $31,016 annually, compared to a national median of $40,000.

Education Gaps: Asheville City Schools has been identified as having the 5th largest achievement gap between Black and white students in the nation.

Segregation: Research has listed Asheville among the top 10 most politically and racially segregated whitest metro areas in the country.

Demographic Decline: The city's Black population has significantly decreased, dropping from approximately 20% to 10% of the total population in recent decades, a trend local experts link to the long-term effects of urban renewal and displacement.

Local leaders and commission members have stated that Asheville is plagued with systemic racism that maintains a "status quo of comfortability" for the majority while excluding minorities from economic and social progress

The "Epstein Class"

1. The Core Function: Facilitating Anti-Reciprocity

In a fair system, "reciprocity" means that if you contribute labor or taxes, you receive security, infrastructure, and a stable currency in return.

The Epstein Class breaks this loop. They define themselves by their ability to take without giving. They consume the People’s tax revenue and labor value while delivering "managed decline"—crumbling roads, devalued money, and eroded borders. For them, the Union is not a home to be protected, but a "host" to be harvested.

2. The Economic Engine: Institutionalized Inequity

This isn't just about "rich vs. poor"; it’s about who owns the rules.

They use debt as a weapon of leverage. By controlling the flow of credit and the printing of currency, they ensure that the "People" are kept in a state of permanent financial anxiety.

This class benefits from "Asymmetric Risk": when they gamble and win, they keep the profits; when they gamble and lose, the People pay the bill via bailouts or inflation. This is the ultimate "anti-reciprocal" economic move.

3. The Legal Shield: Extra-Constitutional Immunity

The most defining characteristic of the Epstein Class is that they sit above the law.

While the Constitution is used to restrain the People (through "adversarial legalism" and regulation), the Epstein Class uses a "private" legal system of international boards, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and corporate-government revolving doors.

They enjoy "De Facto Immunity": their crimes (financial fraud, violations of privacy, or even human rights abuses) are treated as "administrative errors" punishable only by fines—fines which are then paid with the very taxpayer money they extracted in the first place.

4. The Cultural Mechanism: Parasitic Expansion

The Epstein Class requires inequality to survive because inequality creates the "desperation" that fuels their growth.

They use their control over the media and education systems to prevent the People from "naming" the enemy accurately.

By fragmenting the Union into competing sub-groups, they ensure the People never unify against the parasitic center.

Formal Definition Proposal:

The Epstein Class (n.): A self-selected, transnational managerial organization that utilizes its control over federal and corporate institutions to facilitate a system of anti-reciprocity. They leverage legal immunity, artificial debt, and extra-constitutional authority to extract the wealth and liberty of the People, ensuring the expansion of systemic inequality for their own preservation.
