🌊🦈 WHAT NOW?! A SHARKNADO OF FLAVOR?! 🦈🌪

For our second tricky-treat of Spooky Season (that’s Halloween for the normies out there), we humbly present to you, “Shark de Mental”, a Blue-Shark Candy, Blue Raspberry, and Marshmallow Gluten Free Sour! For anyone paying attention, we have a “____ de Mental” series of Sours where we literally melt down hundreds of pounds of Gummy Candies, and this is the next installment in that series!

We quite literally melted down everyone’s favorite niche-level gummies, the Blue Raspberry and Marshmallow Sharks, then decided that we really needed to turn it up a few notches, so we added more Blue Raspberry, more Marshmallow, and some Vanilla to really cap it all off.

Pretty much, this tastes like you ripped open a bag of Gummy Sharks and poured Vanilla Ice Cream and Fluff all over it, then went to town on that thang. It’s like we somehow, once again, elevated the candy itself. GO FORTH AND LET THESE SHARKS SWIM FREELY DOWN THE GULLET OF YOUR SOUL!

THE NEW MOON NELSON HAS RETURNED!

“New Wolf Moon” is our three-way collab with the homies Eggers Hops, Atrium Brewing, and 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆. Of course, leave it to the homies to come up with an insane project like harvesting a bunch of extra-choice Nelson Sauvin under the light of a Full Moon, so we absolutely had to do these babies justice.

Harvesting under the light of a full moon made the idea possible, that of an international collaboration of breweries across the globe all being a part of a "global full moon harvest collab". We couldn’t be more elated to be a part of this project for the second year now.

Mashed with Riverbend Malt House, comprised of a blend of 2-Row and Pilsner and a smattering of Wheat Malt, Malted Oats, and Chit Malt, as well as a heavy dose of Flaked Oats. Hopped in the Whirlpool with El Dorado and Nelson Sauvin CGX, fermented with our House Hazy IPA yeast and spunded for dat natty carb. Dry hopped at first, AND UNDER THE POWER OF THE FULL MOON with 2026 Egger’s Full Moon Nelson, and then dry hopped a second time with MORE 2026 Egger’s Full Moon Nelson, El Dorado CGX, and a hefty dose of Fresh-pressed Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief from Freestyle Farms.

We went back and forth with the Atrium and Mikerphone crew to try and make 3 separate collabs that each amplify and showcase the incredible job the Egger’s team does with their hops every year, in particular this lot of Full Moon Nelson. We experience the aforementioned things: fruity-breakfast-cereal, White Peach and Honeydew Melon balls in a hollowed out Papaya, Pineapple candies with maybe some Hi-Chew notes, a huge glass of fresh Sauv Blanc juice absolutely slathered in fresh-squeezed-grassy-goodness, and all of that is wrapped up in a mystical and otherworldly blanket of dank and sticky Nelson Sauvin goodness. Super crushable and hyper approachable. What a wonderful and amped up showcasing of this year’s harvest of Nelson Sauvin!

Big, big, big thanks to Kem and the Eggers crew for putting this project together. What a fun experience this was, and we couldn’t be more honored.

ALL HAIL “BOOTLEG LIZARD WIZARD”, our fan-favorite WCIPA made in collaboration with Pink Boots Society (and in adoration of and all things RAWK-N-ROLL) with the killer graphic from Cygoodies.

Mashed with a simple base of 100% Riverbend Malt House, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and a touch of Chit Malt. Hopped heavily throughout the boil with Vic Secret, and then hot-dipped in the fermenter with Chinook Dynaboost. Fermented with our House IPA Yeast, spunded for natural carbonation, and Dry Hopped with a very heavy charge of Pink Boots Hop Blend and Columbus Cryo.

We experience a pungent melange of Resin-meets-Citrus-meets-Pineapple, a strong and assertive bitterness with a BIG and CLEAN fruity finish, Orange rinds dipped in Orange marmalade and Blueberry compote, and a really pleasant dankness that lingers juuuuuust long enough. Not quite as long as the riffs that King Gizzard is dropping, but we’ll let you be the judge of that. The same as it ever was, just with the dank-tropical notes cranked up a little higher.

Did we originally brew this b**r to celebrate King Gizzard coming to AVL? Yes. Do we think it will inevitably help to conjure up a new album? Idk, maybe. Do we really think we needed an excuse to bring it back? Absolutely not!

Can’t afford your own Lizard Wizard? Mom says you have too many Lizard Wizards at home? That’s okay!

💖 WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A PINK STAR BURSTS?! 💖

For our first tricky-treat of Spooky Season (that’s Halloween for the normies out there), we humbly present to you, “Oops! All Pink!”, a Strawberry-Candy Gluten Free Sour! It’s our answer to what would happen if you bursted a pink star…for copyright purposes that’s probably vague enough. We melted down everyone’s favorite wrapped, pink, strawberry-flavored candy squares, then threw more Strawberry at it, and then threw even more Strawberry at that. We decided to take the base candy and turn it up a few notches, cuz what’s better than drinking your favorite candies?!

Made with a totally radical blend of Pink Strawberry Square Candies and Strawberry. It is safe to say we really hit the nail on the head, but why don’t you take it around the block a few times and let us know what you think.

Pretty much, this tastes like you dipped those square candies into Strawberry jam and then coated it with Strawberry syrup. It’s like we somehow elevated the candy itself. LET THE STARS BURST FORTH FROM OUR COPYRIGHT-INFRINGEMENT-FREE PINK STAR CHARACTER WITH FERVOR AND GUSTO!

A few months back, hit us up to offer up some new experimental Hops testing and feedback, and around the same time they also introduced us to the Shrike Brewing crew. It felt super fitting to brew something hoppy with the fellow fans of the occult and the purveyors of the finest hops, but something a little more crispy to compliment the specific new Hops, HBC-1176. Obviously, we had to crank out a West Coast Pilsner, and we took this opportunity to bring back our brand line of “Fuzz” West Coast Pilsners, as well!

The notes we got for HBC-1176 were: Citrus, Berries, Pine Sap, Subtle Pepper, Candied Stonefruit, and Herbal/Woody. So yeah, WC Pils was the move! We then chose to highlight a more Noble hop profile through the Boil and Whirlpool to really play up it’s “noble” hop characteristics on the palate, while also letting the HBC-1176 shine as much as possible by amplifying its fruitiness in the Dry Hop.

What’s a West Coast Pilsner? GLAD YOU ASKED! Essentially, think of a West Coast IPA with some extra crispness and a dialed down hop intensity to increase drinkability while still maintaining a firm bitterness and bold hop presence. Yes, we will probably copy-paste the definition of this style every time we release one. Get over yourselves.

Mashed with a base of 100% , comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and a dash of Chit Malt. Hopped generously throughout the boil with Mittelfruh and Whirlpooled heavily with Tettnang before fermenting low and slow with our House L***r Yeast and spunding for natural carbonation. It was then hit with a rather dramatic Dry Hop of HBC-1176 with some extra Citra Prysma on top, before being laid down for a nice, cold mini-slumber.

We experience a b**r that just lets the hop oils roll right down it’s back, a VERY CRISPY lil’ body with a restrained Malt presence, a firm bitterness of sappy-yet-fruity resin, a burst of Orange Marmalade straight out of the jar, a touch of Peach-meets-Berry, and juuuuuust a punch in the face of dankness with an overwhelming amount of Sprite-level-Lemon-Lime.

The Korean BBQ Crunchwrap with bulgogi brisket, kimchi-miso slaw, crispy wonton, melty cheese, and gochujang mayo, all wrapped in a flour tortilla.

DSSOLVR Pimento Cheese
Stout-infused sharp cheddar, pickled veggies, mustard, and pretzel bread.

GOONS! Krab Rangoons that is.
Creamcheese, cheesecake sweet chili sauce with sesame seeds, topped with scallions.

The Carolina Cubano
Pulled pork, city ham, smoked bacon, pepperjack cheese, pickles, and mustard BBQ.

Street Corn Hushpuppies
Cotija cheese, roasted jalapeño crema, and lime.

MmmMMM SO GOOD!

I took all of the pictures and because we don't let things go to waste around here I got to sample the whole menu and you can't go wrong with any of it, seriously. The crunchwrap in particular goes hard af! And the sauce for the goons is 🤌🏻 fantastic.

What's that commotion, you ask? Is it a mysterious creature lurking in the shadows? Is it the rumble of an approaching Balrog?! NOPE! It’s two sauced hobbits slamming down a second pint of "Beast Life" everyone's beloved, lauded, ONCE A YEAR SPOOKY-TIME TREAT WITH A SURPRISINGLY LARGE AND VOCAL CULT FOLLOWING THAT REMINDS US CRAFT B**R IS ALIVE AND WELL: Schwarzbier!

Spoiler: This is the exact same b**r as “Unknown Beast”, but with a new name and a new label to fall in-line with our new L***r branding. Fear not, we changed absolutely nothing about the liquid inside!

Our journey begins with a foundation of Chesapeake Pilsner, complemented by a blend of Specialty and Roasted Malts. We've infused it with Hallertauer Mittelfruh throughout the boil, and we've tossed in a generous helping of Perle in the Whirlpool. Our traditional German L***r treatment reigns supreme: a slow and cold fermentation, spunding for 100% natural carbonation, and a long slumber in a Horizontal L***ring Tank.

It all starts with tantalizing notes of roasty Cacao, sweet Hazelnut, toasted Wheat bread, and just a hint of those intriguing beans. Got me thinking about those beans...uh, right...then it wraps up with a clean, crisp, and dry finish, precisely as we intended. Don't let the dark appearance fool you; it's easily one of our favorite L***r offerings to date, maintaining the high level of crushability you've come to expect from our Chippy Boi™ L***r Program.

Riffing off the success of “Purp Purp Lemonade”, we retooled the base and came up with a fun twist, so please welcome “Scary Berry Limeade”, a Blacberry-Lime-Vanilla Gluten Free Sour to the lineup! We swapped the Lemon component of Purp out for Lime and added Vanilla, because why not?! THAT’s RIGHT!!! The same Citrus-Berry energy, but with even more scaries!

Made with a totally radical blend of Blackberry, Raspberry, Limes, Vanilla…and Purple? It is here to take your taste buds by the hand and help them board a flight straight to Halloweentown (no relation to the Disney IP, legally speaking).

Remember those Hard Limeade bottles in your parents’ fridge as a kid? Like the ones you accidentally grabbed, thinking it was Lemonade and then got a pleasant surprise? Pretty much this is that, but with some amped up Mixed Berry character and a smoothing note of Vanilla. Yep. The style description is pretty accurate. It's a Fruity Hard Limeade Soda-Style.. What more do you need?
