THE RETURN OF THE GREAT “Ocean Mist” IS UPON US!!!! In case you missed it, we riffed on everybody’s favorite ocean-themed fast-food-chain soda and it sold out in RECORD TIME a few months ago. And so we re-tooled the recipe, doubled the batch, and it’s time to rip it up!

Everybody knows the famous fast food chain with the “Ocean” soda, right? The chain named after the Hedgehog? Wait, it isn’t the Hedgehog’s burger chain?! It’s totally unrelated?! My childhood is broken…

“Ocean Mist” is a Gluten-Free Fruited Sour, and we’re trying a new-and-improved “Soda Style” with this one, in collaboration with our friends . When you wind up bonding over weird beers you never made, and both breweries end up saying one of those beers is a fast-food-specific Soda comprised of Sprite and Coconut and…Blue. Well…if all those things happen then you HAVE TO make one! AND IT WAS SO NICE, WE ABOUT TO DO IT TWICE!

This mind-bending bevvy was conditioned on a straight up monsoon of Lemon, Lime, Coconut, Coconut Cream, and…Blue. This is easily one of the most “nail on the head” riffs on a food item we’ve done in quite some time. We did tweak the sweetness a bit, increased the “lemon-lime” component, and increased carbonation to get closer to “soda style” and it’s epic. This is still easily the most sweet GF Sour we’ve done…so…it tastes EXACTLY like the real thing.

We really couldn’t be more happy with how this turned out and we’re really excited to keep exploring this weird “Soda Style” space a little more. MASSIVE THANKS to our homies for having the faith in us to execute on this vision.

BACK TO THE BELGIANS! After our first Belgian a few weeks back, we decided to keep plugging away with the yeast and figured a Raspberry Wheat was about due. “Images of Fire” is here to burn up the streets and melt away your wishes of Fruited Wheats. Honestly, we get asked all the time about Hefe, Wheat Ale, and non-sour Fruited offerings, so we figured we’d get a few birds stoned at once.

Mashed with a base of 100% Riverbend, and 35% of that being Appalachian Wheat. Kissed ever-so-gently with hops, and then fermented with our Belgian Ale yeast before being refermented on Raspberries. We were trying out a new process with this one, so sadly we didn’t get the full carbonation with the spunding valve. BUT WE TRIED AND IT’S STILL BEAUTIFUL!

This is really a killer Belgian Wheat, with just enough of a big-fruity Belgian Ester profile, a big hefty Wheat body, and enough Raspberry to keep you coming back for more. This rips, seriously. Come get some!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? NO! IT’S A “LITTLE WIZARD FROG”, our newest DDH Hazy IPA!

Mashed with a base of , as always, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner, Czech Pilsner, Oats, and Chit Malt, along with a HEFTY amount of Flaked Oats to give an amped up and luscious body, hit on the hot side with Egger’s Riwaka alongside Mosaic Cryo in the Whirlpool and then hot-dipped in the FV with Ekuanot Prysma, dry-hopped with Egger’s Motueka, and then double-dry-hopped with EVEN MORE Egger’s Motueka, a fat dab of Superdelic, and a chef’s kiss of Crystal for dat sticky top-note.

Notes of dank Cantaloupe, Raspberry compote, icky-sticky candied Lemons, Blueberry fruit leather, and a bit of the dank-weed-meets-breakfast-cereal vibe. Right, we all know that one?

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve used Crystal in a hoppy beer and dang, do we miss the way it works to help highlight everything else! Just a slew of our favorite hops in a magical little froggy hazy!

So the word got out that we’re doing a crazy Pickle Party in DRM, and honestly we are a little scared of the crazy response…BUT FEAR NOT! We made ample amounts of “Pickle Life”, the perfect pickle-eating companion beverage!

Mashed with a loving (AND SECRET!) blend of 100% Malts, hopped ever-so-gently with yet even more secret additions, and fermented with our House Lager Yeast. Of course, it was spunded for natural carbonation before being laid down to rest in one of our Horizontal Lager Tanks. AND THEN IT WAS CONDITIONED ON A METRIC BUTTLOAD OF PICKLE JUICE AND SEA SALT!

The specific ingredients are not nearly as important as the final product, and we felt that by keeping those close to the chest, the style itself would be the descriptor. And with that, we are very happy to bring this PICKLE ABOMINATION to the fold. Cold, crisp, just enough bite to match the high minerality, just enough hop character to tie the whole room together, and just enough PICKLE CHARACTER TO KEEP ON SLUGGING ‘EM DOWN!

Y’all have just continued to go absolutely crazy for “PB&J Engine”, our mashup Peanut Butter and Jelly Cheesecake collab with our brethren over at . SOOOOOOO… “PB&Jelly Turbo Fluff” is back! Seriously, y’all showed up much more than expected last time, so ONCE AGAIN, we’re gonna open this up for preorders and hold it back from all distro for a week to make sure we don’t sell out as quickly. Plus, we made a double batch to make sure it lasts at least a little longer!

Slightly new news, though, since everyone keeps asking: we’re going to stick to Turbofluff for a few months, and then go back to Engine (Cheesecake) for our PB&J series. We love each variant equally, and we want to give them each their time to shine, but fear not…Cheesecake will return! (And maybe some other fruits if you ask reallllllly nice. Let us know in the comments.)
 This GF Sour was conditioned on Peanuts, heaps and heaps and more heaps of Concord Grape, and a very healthy smattering of Marshmallow and Vanilla. Pretty much this is an Uncrustable that’s been injected with an extra helping of FLUFFFF. As the name suggests…

ANYWAY, we can’t really come up with better descriptions because we honestly just nailed this one right on the head again.

“Mango Sticky Riot” is our newest Smoothie-Style GF Sour, modeled after Mango Sticky Rice, and whipped up in collaboration with our Michigan brethren, . Those crazy Northerners know a thing or two about Fruited Sours, so this only seemed like a logical fit. With all their fruit acumen, we really wanted to push ourselves outside our comfort zone, and the results are seriously whacked out in the best way possible.

We did something inconceivable with this one, and we actually made 50lbs of Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk. We then conditioned the GF Sour base on that homemade Sticky Rice, tons and tons of thick and pulpy Mango, Brown Sugar, and Coconut Cream. This is so on-the-nose, it’s laughable. This just tastes exactly like a fat scoop of Coconut-laden Sticky Rice with some fresh Mango wedges on top. Fruity, starchy, sour, tropical, thick, and delicious. Bingo, bango, bongo, y’all.

Big big BIG thanks to our friends from the North who hit us up to bring forth this wild and wacky Fruited Sour concoction in celebration of their upcoming Nucleate Festival, in Ann Arbor, MI! Tickets are still available, by the way, and we’d love to see ya there! We’ll be bringing some tasty treats and the Homes crew just so happens to have a fresh TDH Hazy DIPA collab we did with them, too!

IT IS BACK YET AGAIN AND IT IS DECIDEDLY BETTER AND WE ARE FRICKIN PUMPED! “The Hustle is Heartbreak” is returning, with (once more) a few more tweaks to the process. Now that we’ve learned a thing or two about clear hoppy beers, we’ve really enjoyed bringing this series back a few times to make sure our process changes are moving in the right direction. Good news: THEY STILL ARE!

And now we’re going to designate the more malty-orange hued and old-school, citrus-dank, classic C-hop-focused, clear IPA’s as “American IPA” within the “Hustle” series. So that’s…cool? Honestly, giving some distance between “American IPA” and “West Coast IPA” has been a small tinkering project internally here for a while, and we’re excited to finally lift the veil and bring back the HUSTLE.

Mashed with Chesapeake Pilsner and Chit, along with a very tiny percentage of high-kiln Crystal Malt for color and complexity. Hit HARD on the hot side with Columbus and Citra and then hot-dipped with Chinook Dynaboost, fermented low and slow with our American Ale yeast for maximum dryness and spunded for dat natural carb. Dry hopped one time (but aggressively) with Citra, Cascade, and a fatty dab of Columbus Cryo.

Notes of Lemon pith in a coniferous forest, Orange Julius with a Pine Sap rim, gleaming the cube after a good spliff, and that first righteous pint of Tricerahops you had from way back when.

It is clear, it is malty, it is orange, it is bitter, it is dry, and it is dank. Hell yeah. Shred that gnar gnar. GOD DAMN! We’re so glad to breathe life back into this series. As always, the label was crushed by the one and only .o.lantern!

“UV Sessions: Clementine & Raspberry” is our official foray back into the wild world of Hard Seltzer. We’re also very excited to pair this with our announcement for the return of our UV Sessions patio parties!

After our forays into Hard Seltzer territory a few years back, we wanted to re-tool a few things. So we kept it simple. Hard Seltzer base, fruit terpenes, and just a SMIDGE of organic sugar. Light, refreshing, fruity, highly carbonated, and absolutely crushable. Whether you’re on a beach, at a patio party, or in your living room, this is the perfect pairing for shaking that ass and wiggling those hips!

andddddd UV Sessions is BACK BABY!! DSSOLVR’s daytime patio dance party, full of sunlight and high vibes, is just what we need to get summer started off on the right foot. We will be soaking up the sun once a month, starting this year on Saturday 5/23 from 1–4PM. and are tag-teaming the decks, spinning house, dance, and genre-blurring grooves made for swaying, dancing, and connecting.

ONE DAY THESE GEARS WILL GRIND TO A HALT. UNTIL THEN, WE WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT THIS “NIGHTMARE ENGINE”.

Our first foray into the world of Cheesecake Sours has been brought back to life by way of Gluten-Free Sour, and we’re pretty hype to bring this one back after a long hiatus.

“Nightmare Engine” is a Mango Cheesecake Gluten-Free Sour. Conditioned on a boatload of Mango, Cheesecake, and a touch of Vanilla. Hope ya dig it! Or not. It’s whatever.

We experience a big ol’ slice of Cheesecake simply covered in Mango jam with a nice and light Cinnamon dusting, a delicious and quenching Mango Frappe, and exactly three pieces of dried Mango rehydrating in your mouth while you cut up a Cheesecake for your dinner guests that you really weren’t expecting to stay as long as they did, but now you’re all talking about politics and vaccines and your dessert breakaway is your only chance for sanity. You know the deal. It’s a dessert, but also an alcoholic beverage. No more rules. Bla bla bla.

ABSOLUTELY NO LACTOSE IN THIS BEAST!
