When it rains, it pours. We finally worked out the tax issues, and just when we thought we would be opening another curve ball has been thrown. Unfortunately our landlord does not want to lease to us any longer. After 40 years of our families doing business this truly breaks our hearts. We had so much history together, movies and commercials filmed, Texas monthly accolades, bands playing to get their music out there, and a family that wasn’t blood, but was chosen. We love all of our supporters, and have learned a great lesson that all it takes is one bad month for small business to be ruined. We are still working on solutions, our family motto is to never give up, but I want our regulars, our family, to know that we are trying our best, but it looks like unless we get a Hail Mary, Pearl’s Cherokee at our current location is no longer an option. We want to thank everyone who stood with us after all these years, and we hope the legacy Marie built will be remembered for years to come. This is such a hard post to write. But faith and prayers are getting us through.
