Slim And The Blue Tones We are an established old & new school blues band, playin jump/swing west coast blues. The band is from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Playing in a garage band in 2006 playing gigs since 2012. Harmonica Gear used... Harpking 6x10 Harpking 4x10, sonny jr 4x10, Kalamazoo amp, currently using stage 5 amp delta 84 with kinder AFB and Boss DD 3, Harp Mic built by myself shure brown bullet with black shure label element, and Astatic JT30 with Control Reluctance element painted by me all metal flake....

So.... one year ago today, I went to the hospital for a simple diagnostic procedure, which didn't turn out to be so simple. 3 surgeries, 3 Defibrillations, and 36 hours later, Kim Lane Weinreich was told I had a 30% chance to survive, and then later told I was most likely going to bleed out and not make it. Without a doubt I was occupying a different plane of existence.They let her in to say goodbye. By some miracle, the power of her love for me, and God, she was able to wake me up when the doctors could not.
I'm eternally grateful to her, and my friends and family who helped me in my ongoing recovery over the past year. I'm clean and sober for over a year and trying to live my life to the fullest every single day. Words like Grateful, Humilty, and Love are not big enough to express how i feel towards my wife and many friends and family.Kim I love you and would do anything for you, you have done everything for me.
