Our destination cocktail bar, PLUME, is honoured to partner with Crimson Restaurant for a Cocktail Masterclass series titled “Discover Through Colour, Flavour and Creation”.⁣
⁣
The series commenced last week with an exclusive media session hosted by our Bar Manager, Siew Han Jun. Guests were taken on an interactive journey inspired by the colours of nature and the vibrant plumage of native birds found in the Crimson Wetlands. The experience invited guests to explore aromas and flavours through edible cocktails, before crafting their own creations.⁣
Two upcoming masterclasses will be open to the public on 20 June and 4 July 2026. Join us for an immersive cocktail experience inspired by nature and local avian life, all while taking in the scenic views of the Crimson Wetlands.⁣

Organised by Diageo Bar Academy, World Class is one of the most prestigious bartending competitions in the world, celebrating excellence in mixology through multiple rounds. In this stage, contenders were challenged to craft cocktails inspired by Tanqueray No. Ten and The Singleton of Dufftown 15 Years, with only the Top 10 advancing to the next round.⁣

Congratulations, Akmal! With just one more round before the national champion is selected to represent Singapore at the Global Finals in Dubai, join us in wishing him success as he continues his World Class journey.⁣

We are proud to share that five of our Associates from PLUME are competing in the annual World Class bartending competition alongside 21 bars across Singapore, and here is how you can support them in this prestigious showcase of craft.⁣

Led by world-leading spirit company Diageo, World Class is one of the industry’s most highly regarded bartending competition in the world, celebrating excellence in mixology through multiple competitive rounds. Top contenders progress through the Top 20, Top 10, and Top 5 stages, with the national winner being announced in June 2026, before representing Singapore at the Global Finals in Dubai this September.⁣

Representing PLUME are our Beverage Manager Matthew Chan, Bar Manager Siew Han Jun, Head Mixologist Akmal Haqim, and Senior Mixologists Rojie Leong-On and Meor Muhammad, all of whom will be competing for the national title of “Bartender of the Year”.⁣
