Portugal meets Peru at CHECA Bar 🇵🇹🇵🇪

After our French–Peruvian evening, we continue exploring the flavours, traditions and stories that connect us.

On Thursday 17 September, we’re bringing together the Atlantic soul of Portugal with the warmth and energy of Peru — inspired by the ocean, seafood, w**e, pisco, family and the simple but beautiful way Portuguese food carries tradition.

Expect bolinhas de bacalhau, porco à Alentejana with pork and clams, grilled pulpo, Portuguese w**es — Messias sparkling, Bustelo Vinho Verde, Alvarinho, Arinto and Monte dos Perdigões from Alentejo — and of course, Peruvian pisco.

For me, Portugal has always felt close to Peru: the power of the ocean, the love for seafood, the humility of its people, and the importance of gathering around the table.
