Don't forget that the next Silent Book Club session is this Wednesday at Cheese & Cheers. Doors open at 5:30pm, with reading starting at 6pm. An assortment of drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase.

Bring your own book or utilize the two book exchanges onsite. This it's your traditional book club! SBC members bring any book they'd like in any format. E-readers, audiobooks, magazines, and comics are all welcome.

All readers are welcome. This some events may require an RSVP, there is no formal registration to become a member of this local chapter. It's the perfect way to test your social threshold without the commitment.

On Saturday, October 10th Kiwi Spirits Distillery will be at Cheese & Cheers for a casual, in-store tasting. Drop in any time between 5pm and 7pm to meet co-owner Jeremy Knight.

From the heart of Golden Bay, one of New Zealand's most picturesque locales, Kiwi Spirit Distillery embodies a legacy of passion and craftsmanship. As a family owned and operated distillery, their commitment to excellence is unwavering — they prioritize quality over quantity in every handcrafted spirit that they produce. Ingredients are sourced as local as possible, some even cultivated in the gardens and orchards of their expansive 6-acre distillery and cellar door. Each spirit is meticulously distilled and bottled by hand, infused with the terroir of our surroundings and a touch of Kiwi ingenuity.

This event will launch the new Waitui Whiskey and explore the growing liqueur range. The full range of spirits will be available only at the tasting.

This summer, check out the new Vibes at the Vines: Summer Music Series, hosted on the second Saturday of the month at the tranquil grounds of the Vines Village in Marlborough. Running throughout the warmer months from October to April, this free community event features a rotating lineup of the region’s best local musicians.

Stroll through the lit paths and enjoy extended trade hours of the Village businesses alongside special event-only perks and exclusive deals all while listening to the relaxed vibes from local musicians.

🤫📚 reading session is quietly approaching! This Wednesday, enjoy a relaxing evening reading in the quiet, cozy environment at Cheese & Cheers.

Doors open at 5:30pm, silent reading starts at 6pm. Make a night of it! Hot and cold drinks plus cheese nibbles are available for purchase.

What is the Silent Book Club? 📖 We like to call is the "introvert happy hour" because its low-stakes socializing. Local chapters across the globe gather in public places with one mission in mind - to welcome those who'd like to read in companionable silence. Socializing is optional based on your personal social battery. 🫶
