Our final weekend at the Roots Gin Shack is here and it should be a great one.

Join us for one last hurrah in the Gin Shack building before we move to a new cozy tasting room elsewhere in the Vines Village.

This week we'll be open everyday from 11am–4pm. With entertainment on Saturday and Sunday!

Saturday: DJ Slice (1-4pm)
Sunday: Dylan Hansen aka Floko (1.30-3.30pm)

As always - delicious food by , cocktails by us, gin tastings and bottles for sale!

Big news from us...

Roots Gin Shack will be closing its doors at the end of this week, but only for a little while.

We’re getting ready for a new chapter with a smaller, cozy tasting room and a beautiful private hosting space above the distillery.

We have loved our time in the Gin Shack building and will miss the views from the deck and the events we've held in the gardens.

Our last weekend in the current Gin Shack building will be a fun one - so please pop down for a drink, a bite to eat or a bottle of Roots to tide you over while we ready our new space.

Thank you for all the good times shared with us so far. We can’t wait to welcome you into our next space soon.

Save the date! The Matariki Night Market returns to the Vines Village on Saturday, July 4th from 3pm to 7pm. Enjoy this evening under the stars, circumnavigate the Village's beautifully lit gardens full of local producers, live music, food offerings, stargazing, craft artisans, and storytelling. All are welcome to this free event and proudly supporting our local Marlborough community. It will be a stellar encounter around every corner!

The Rosso Martinez mixes our Roots Rosso Pinot Noir gin with a rich sweet vermouth, house made blackberry liqueur, a touch of Oloroso sherry and bitters.
