Four days of darkness. One team that never stopped showing up anyway.

18:30 tonight — the power came back on. We had just finished cancelling every booking for the evening, fully prepared for another closed night. Minutes later, the lights flicked on, and so did we.

To everyone who had a reservation for tonight and got a cancellation message: we’re already trying to reach you right now, but if you see this first, consider yourselves un-cancelled. Come anyway.
Because tonight, O’Sole Rooftop is wide open for walk-ins. No 3-week waitlist, no advance booking, no planning required. Just show up.

And we’re not stopping there, we’ve pulled in live music for tonight too, because if we’re doing this, we’re doing it right. Huge thanks to Marsicano for jumping on board last minute and bringing the sound to match the energy.

We’re always the type to go the extra mile. Tonight, we’re going further, because after four days stuck at home, tired of being closed, we are more motivated than ever to be back where we belong: on that rooftop, serving every single one of you like the VIP you always are.

Come watch the sunset. Come eat well. Come dance a little. Come be part of the night we turned a bad week into our best one.

🚨 A Quick Update from O’Sole Valletta

🌇 TODAY’S VIEW: NO LIGHTS, STILL NO LIMITS 🌇

O’Sole means sunshine. Today, ironically, we had none, not from the sky, from the grid.

Three days. Three closures.

Three nights where our rooftop, built for golden hour and good company, went dark before the sun even set.

We didn’t lose power because we forgot to pay a bill. We lost it because Malta did.

Behind every “temporarily closed” sign is a chef who prepped for nothing, a team sent home without a shift, and guests who booked a sunset they never got to see.

We’re not complaining for sympathy. We’re stating a fact: hospitality cannot run on apologies alone, it runs on electricity, something that shouldn’t be this hard to guarantee in 2026.

Our rooftop stays closed when the lights go. Our standards don’t.

To everyone who still messages us to check if we’re open, who still shows up hoping, grazie. That’s the real energy keeping O’Sole alive right now. ☀️

🚨 A Quick Update from O’Sole Valletta

Due to a nationwide electricity issue affecting Valletta, we’re unable to open tonight, 22nd July.

Good news, O’Sole Rooftop Bugibba is open as normal, so come find us there for the same great vibes, food, and views 🌅

O’Sole Valletta will be back open tomorrow from breakfast onwards, ready to welcome you as always.
