As we all know Jackie Farrell has never been one to shy away from making a speech.

Some honourable mentions made the cut - The great George Best, DDolly Parton, DJT….. but none bigger than the bould Mouse Marcus Mć.

Thanks to every who came along to make this such a wonderful celebration and memorable night. Family travelled from as far afield as New Jersey and Dubai to celebrate with Jackie. One even made the difficult trip from as far away as The Sheepwalk. So thanks again to everyone who came along and made this such a memorable night for a legendary man from the town.

Rousing music was provided by local duo Heads or Tails ensuring the dance floor was full all night.

Come along this morning to continue the celebrations and help with the clean up. 🧹

This Saturday night, 29th August, we’ll be celebrating a very special milestone in Farrell’s Bar as Jackie celebrates his 80th birthday! 🎂🥳

Jackie would love to see all his family, friends and customers who have supported him over the years come along and join him for a great night of celebrations.

Huge congrats to Theresa who was victorious. Theresa now qualifies for next week’s carrot & cabbage round where she will take on Pat’s wife Mary Ellen. 🥕🥬
