LOCAVORE HOP HARVEST 2026

Locavore 2026 is a Fresh Hop Extra Special Bitter brewed using this year’s hop harvest.

For the 13th edition of Locavore Hop Harvest, we have crafted an Extra Special Bitter using Wicklow water, yeast from our neighbours at WHC Labs, locally sourced barley from Minch Malt, and Challenger, Cascade, Phoenix, Northdown and Northern Brewer hops grown by Simon on the hop farm.

Expect floral, earthy and subtle citrus notes from this year’s hops, with a firm bitter bite balanced by smooth malty sweetness.

SCOFF LIMITS

Rich, smooth & moreish, Scoff Limits is a stout that takes the biscuit. Brewed with caramelised biscuit and cinnamon, it brings layers of sweet biscuit, warming spice and roasted malt together in a deliciously smooth stout base. Deep caramel notes meet a gentle roasted bitterness, with a lingering biscuit finish that’s made to be savoured.

Some things are just too good to share. You’ll be telling people this b**r is “Scoff Limits”.

SLAUGHTER HILL BLACK IPA

From the brewery, an old road climbs into the shadows of the Wicklow Mountains. Once called Slí Uachtar - the upper way - it is said to be travelled by a black wolf when the last light fades. Those who encounter it are warned to let it pass. Do not follow. Do not look back.

We’ve followed that wolf into the darkness with this bold Black IPA. Pouring jet black with a deep ruby glow, the b**r opens with aromas of roasted coffee, toasted caramel and dark chocolate. Layers of rich malt sweetness give way to a clean roast, while waves of citrus zest, tropical fruit and resinous pine cut through the shadows. A lingering bitterness marks the end of the journey.

Dark and unforgiving at 6.66%, Slaughter Hill is a b**r for those who dare to take the upper way. Just don’t look back.

POINTY SHOES: 2026

Introducing Endangered Species No. 70 – Pointy Shoes: 2026. First brewed in 2019 to mark our 5th birthday, this Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout has become our annual birthday tradition.

Aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels, Pointy Shoes 2026 is brewed to celebrate 12 years of Wicklow Wolf. Available now at the Taproom in extremely limited quantities.

OUR BIRTHDAY

September is a special month for us at Wicklow Wolf. Not only are we celebrating 12 years in business, but it's also been 7 years since we moved from Bray to our new home in Newtownmountkennedy.

The signed Wicklow Wolf found in our merch area is from our launch party back in September 2019, displayed proudly alongside posters new and old.

IF YOU LIKE PIÑA COLADA SOUR

Inspired by the classic Piña Colada cocktail, this lightly sour b**r is bursting with juicy pineapple and creamy coconut aromas. Brewed with fresh pineapple juice, real coconut and lactose for a smooth, velvety mouthfeel, it delivers a refreshing balance of tropical sweetness and gentle tartness at an easy drinking 3.8% ABV.

NEW RELEASE: 'PETRICHOR' HAZY IPA

Petrichor (pronounced peh-trih-kor) is the pleasant, earthy smell that accompanies the first rain after a warm, dry period. The word was coined from the greek Petra, meaning ‘stone’ and ichor, meaning ‘the golden liquid that flows in the veins of the gods’.

Petrichor is a juicy, soft-bodied Hazy IPA inspired by the unmistakable scent of an Irish Summer. Bursting with ripe mango, passionfruit, peach and citrus zest, layered with hints of berry and tropical fruit. Expect a smooth mouthfeel, intense juicy hop character and minimal bitterness, finishing bright, refreshing and as golden as the liquid that flows through the veins of the Greek gods.
