The Limerick Strand Hotel is delighted to welcome Donnacha Hurley as our newly appointed General Manager.
Bringing more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Donnacha joins the team with an extensive background in hotel leadership and a deep understanding of Limerick.
Having held senior positions with some of the industry's leading hospitality brands, Donnacha returned to Limerick in 2007 as Opening General Manager of the Limerick Marriott Hotel. He went on to lead the Absolute Hotel Limerick for more than 17 years before most recently serving as Chief Executive of the Limerick Chamber.
Speaking about his appointment, Donnacha said:
"Hospitality is where my heart is. My time with Limerick Chamber was a privilege, but leading The Limerick Strand Hotel felt like coming home. The Strand is one of Limerick's landmark hotels with a proud reputation for hospitality and service. My focus is to build on those strong foundations, support our team, enhance the guest experience, and ensure the hotel continues to play an important role in the city's life."
