Wondering why The Oarsman is also called Tunney's? James Joyce Immortalised Tunney's Bar (now the Oarsman) in his legendary book Ulysses. Tunney's bar was famous for it's Superior Tawny Sherry - featured in Ulysses. We will be celebrating Bloomsday at the Tunney's Writer's Room in the Oarsman on June 16th and serving the traditional Bloomsday Breakfast & Lunch Fare accompanied by Guinness, Sherry & Burgandy Red Wine. Actors will be in attendance in Bloomsday costume - stay tuned for the updates & booking info. Get your costumes ready! 📚
