We were delighted to welcome Irish football legend Pa**ie Bonner to the bar. It was great to see Pa**ie enjoying the atmosphere, meeting customers, and sharing a few stories from his incredible career.

Last night we had our former great bartender Derek Varian return to O'Driscolls to celebrate his big birthday, travelling all the way from the Metropolis of Mitchelstown to reunite with his former comrades and friends for a lively night of music and refreshment accompanied by his gorgeous and patient wife Theresa but leaving his many, many children at home. Also present were another couple of familiar faces O'Flynn and David Bowe. It would appear that they all miss being behind the bar and there were several attempts to bribe Fidelma O Sullivan into letting them in, for old time's sake, but was having none of it. Liam was delighted and proud to see his protégé return to O'Driscolls to host the celebrations, so Alan has decided he will host his 21st here, and Bowe is seriously considering having his 40th here too, but it's too far away to make the commitment. We wish Derek a very Happy Birthday and a speedy recovery.🥳🎉🍻
