🎸 MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC 🎶

This week there will be some amazing music gigs for your enjoyment. From our Open Mic night, local legends and a wonderful array of local tunes for Culture Night.

WEDNESDAY
🎙️ OPEN MIC NIGHT returns on Wednesday, September 16th. Join us for some tunes, songs and poems. Feel free to sign up on the night. Newcomers are always welcome. Alice Laffan is our guest host for the night.

FRIDAY
🧑‍🎤 🇧🇴 The Carlow Songbook will be a showcase of some legendary songs from. Carlow artists over the years. A collaboration with musicians Emmet Jones, Darragh O'Connor, Daniel Craig, Gavin Glover and Duane Ayres, the event is funded and supported by Carlow Arts Office and Carlow County Council as part of Culture Night. It's completely free and kicks off at 6pm.

SATURDAY
🥁 The might Hugsie returns to The Front Bar from 10pm Saturday, September 19th. He'll be joined by special guest Aaron Thompson for some hard hitting tunes.

🎶 BUMPER MUSIC SATURDAY 🎸

We have 2 wonderful acts for your pleasure this Saturday night. The fantastic Asophonics return to us for another night of musical genius in the surrounds of The Good Room.

Delighted to be joined by a very special guest, as Fraser Morgan is joining us for a few of his original tunes. Fraser, who is a UK based independent artist and a festival favourite, is over doing a bit of an Irish tour hitting up some bars and festivals, and we are delighted to have him with us in Scraggs.

Music will be in The Good Room doors 9pm, music from 9.30pm. we encourage you to support both these musical acts. It's pay what you can on the door, so feel free to pop. in and listen. If you like what you hear, some merch and CDs will also be available.

Our festival queen is back tonight. After smashing Latitude and Wilderness, Alice Laffan is back for some tunes in The Front Bar from 10pm.

she has recently been confirmed (of course) for Electric Picnic end of August. as a build up, Alice plus band will be storming the The Good Room on August 22nd. Alice will be joined be the magical Darragh O'Connor, Gavin Glover and Emmet Jones on that night. Pay what you can gig. More info soon.

If you're not on board the Just Alice train, there is plenty of space!
