RIP John. Thank you for all you did over the years to help Businesses and the Community in Cobh. Our thoughts are with his Family , friends, those who worked closely with John in his plumbing business or through his involvement in Cobh Chamber of Commerce over the years at this sad time.
Cobh and Harbour Chamber is deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and colleague Mr. John Sweeney.
John gave many years of service to the Chamber, offering his guidance, support, and commitment in a number of roles. He served two terms as President and also held the position of Secretary. He remained actively involved in the Chamber throughout his life and was serving on the Executive Committee as Treasurer at the time of his passing.
In addition to his contribution to the Chamber, John gave a lifetime of service to the wider community and was held in high regard by all who knew him.
John’s contribution to the Chamber and the community will not be forgotten, and he will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with John’s family, friends, and loved ones at this difficult time.
