We have been away for a couple of years due to covid and we now start gathering again. Those interested can join our club again. We are here to help those who want to learn the wine pairing life skill.

We are reviving the food and wine matching dinner. For past 3 years, due to covid, we don’t feel right or safe to host any such events. We apologise for that. However, with the easing of covid regulations, we now feel confident that we can do it now. We are currently in discussion with some caterers and venue and nutritionist so as to make the dinner a better experience for everyone. And we are trying to make another change too and that is not to do restaurant hopping but teaming up with different star chefs to provide an one off experience. Not only introducing these chefs to you but also let you try their food in a reasonable price. More later. Oh, and we have a desert shop that will provide deserts too. We hope this will give an all round experience for everyone who attends our event.

We have started cook and wine. A simple steamed clams with a hint of salt with buttery mashed potatoes and some Italian herbs. Very easy to cook and cooking time definitely less than 30 minutes. If you like some sauce, onion and sage or lemon and thyme can be added too. Or if you have left over Chardonnay, you can add that too.

So for this dish, we recommend pair it with Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay. Can’t go wrong.
