🍻🧠 THIS WEEK AT THE GILLYGATE 🎤🎸
November is here, the evenings are getting darker, but there's still plenty happening at The Gillygate to keep you entertained throughout the week!
From live acoustic music and midweek blues to quizzes, Friday night entertainment and Sunday poker, we've got a little something for everyone.
🎤 Monday – Open Acoustic Session (8:30pm)
Dan Webster & Emily Lawler kick things off with our weekly Open Acoustic Session. Bring an instrument and join in, or grab a pint and enjoy a relaxed evening with some of York's local musicians.
🎶 Wednesday – Blues Collective (8pm)
Martin Ledger & friends return for another evening of blues, collaboration and soulful playing. Expect laid-back grooves, great musicianship and a welcoming atmosphere to break up the working week.
🧠 Thursday – The Gillygate Quiz (7pm)
Round up your team and put your general knowledge to the test with our traditional pen-and-paper pub quiz. Plenty of head-scratching, friendly rivalry and the occasional answer you'll kick yourself for not knowing.
🎸 Friday – Acoustic sessions (7-9pm)
Adam Dawson returns to The Gillygate for another evening of live music. Grab a drink, settle in and enjoy a couple of hours of great tunes to get the weekend underway.
🎤 Saturday- Karaoke is back at the Gillygate come and make yourself famous with Nev and his TikTok karaoke
8pm till late
♠️ Sunday – Redtooth Poker (7pm)
Finish the week around the poker table with our regular Redtooth Poker night. £10 buy-in, friendly tables and everyone welcome to join us.
