HES DONE IT!! 🥇 🥇

Yesterday Marek completed his marathon in Lithuania 🇱🇹 which added a massive 26 miles to his total. Not only that, added together with 5 runs he has done since Wednesday it means he has hit his 100 MILE CHALLENGE! In 13 DAYS! Taking him to a total of 100.89 miles 👏

We will post separately photos of the 5 runs for anyone who has been tracking his journey, but for now please all join us in congratulating him on his amazing triumph!

HISTORY OF OUR PUB 🍺

Our pub stands on the ground or the former Clifton Hospital that was originally called the North and East Riding Pauper Hospital which originally opened in 1847.

The land got developed into a pub/restaurant in the late 20th century and underwent a huge refurbishment in 2025 which has turned it into the pub you know and love today.

We are now known for our local country pub feel with our huge stylish b**r garden in summer and roaring fires in winter 🔥

100 MILE CHALLENGE UPDATE 🏃

Over the last couple of days Marek has been adding more miles on taking him up to 55.6miles 👏 👏

Marek is intending to run/walk/cycle 100 miles in the month of September to raise money for Social Bite - a homeless charity.
