Going back generations... The Royal Oak has been in the middle of it all for as long as Copmanthorpe can remember. Only 4 miles from the historical city of York and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The Royal Oak is the ideal stop over for a few drinks after a Sunday cycle ride or even after a long dog walk on one of the many country paths surrounding the village.

What a Night!!!

A big thank you to everyone who made last night possible! Bishopthorpe Sports and Social Club were absolutely amazing hosts and what a great venue for live music!

Amplified Idiots, Accidentally Acoustic - The Band & CopOwt - The Band put on a fantastic evening for everyone! We can’t wait to see them perform again at Carnival in July! Thanks for being so amazing guys!

All of the money raised last night will go back into Carnival to support the local community in Copmanthorpe🩷 thank you to everyone who donated through buying raffle tickets, grand raffle tickets or just getting your gig ticket! You’re all fantastic!
