Only 4 miles from the historical city of York and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The Royal Oak is the ideal stop over for a few drinks after a Sunday cycle ride or even after a long dog walk on one of the many country paths surrounding the village.

We’re looking for a new member of the team…

Apparently the cabbages can’t stack themselves, the potatoes refuse to carry themselves, and the onions just make everyone cry…

So, it’s time we found another pair of hands!

Reliability is the number one quality we’re looking for. The role involves early starts, heavy lifting and plenty of hard work, so we’re looking for someone who’s dependable and ready to get stuck in.

We’re flexible with the hours and can offer:
• Full-time
• Part-time
• Half days
• ⁠A Few hours each morning
