🚫 Fly Tipping is NOT Acceptable 🚫
We'd like to address an ongoing issue that is having a huge impact on our business.
Over recent weeks, we have been working hard with the relevant authorities to have the bins removed from outside the pub. Some have now been removed, and others are still awaiting collection. Unfortunately, while this process is ongoing, the area has become a hotspot for fly tipping.
We have had to deal with everything from household waste, furniture, mattresses, black bags, and even discarded needles. This is completely unacceptable.
Our staff should not have to clear up other people's rubbish, and it is unfair that we are receiving complaints about something that is not our waste and is beyond our control.
We kindly ask everyone to do the right thing:
♻️ Please book a visit to your local recycling centre or tip and dispose of your waste responsibly.
Fly tipping not only damages the environment, but it also harms the reputation and appearance of local businesses like ours that work hard to keep the area clean and welcoming.
⚠️ Please be aware that any bags or items containing information linking them to a household are being reported to the council. These incidents are being investigated, and where evidence is found, enforcement action may be taken.
Let's all do our part to keep our community clean and support local businesses rather than creating unnecessary problems.
