We're celebrating Polly's Brew Co. 8th birthday! 🎉
Check out how the Danish Pastry Imperial Stout pours.
On the bar at The Slip Inn is the Polly's x IPA, and the Polly's x Impy Stout.
It's a short walk up the hill to our sister pub The Swan, York who have the other half of the birthday quartet of brews.

A proper old-school strong ale from Stockport. First brewed in 1899 and the recipe is still holding its own.

Style: English Strong Ale
ABV: 8.5%
Tasting notes: Dark fruit, rich malt, a port-like warmth. Big, smooth and moreish.

Rare beer alert! Our pals at have one of only two pins of this beer now pouring... A single Islay whisky barrel aged Reaper Grease. Smoky, complex, formidable. It's the kind of beer you should cancel your other plans for. Take our word for it, or don't! On whilst it lasts.
