Last night at Bakkus was unreal.

What a venue, what a crowd, and most importantly — what an incredible community. 🖤

Thank you to every single person who came down, supported us, grabbed some food, had a drink and made the night what it was.

Seeing so many of you show up for Untamed genuinely means everything to us.

❤️ THE NEXT CHAPTER OF UNTAMED ❤️

Three months ago, Untamed Smokehouse opened its doors for the very first time O'Connor's On Warwick Street

The three months gave us the opportunity to bring Untamed to life, test our concept and, most importantly, see what you guys thought of it. The support since then has genuinely blown us away. 🔥

And one thing has become very clear — our community spoke, and we listened. ❤️

You’ve shown us how much love there is for Untamed, what you want to see from us and where you want to see us next. So as we reach the end of those three months, we’re ready to move into the next stage of the plan for Untamed.

That means taking Untamed on the road — more pop-ups, collaborations, events and new opportunities, while we continue working towards the bigger goal of finding a home of our own. 👀🔥

A huge thank you for giving Untamed somewhere to launch, and to every single person who has eaten with us, ordered a delivery, shared our posts, left a review or simply told someone about us.

This was chapter one. Now it’s time for chapter two. ❤️🔥

After days of patience, low & slow smoking, and plenty of anticipation, our first batch of house-smoked pastrami is ready.

Smoked until perfectly tender, packed with flavour, sliced fresh to order, and served the way pastrami should be. No shortcuts. Just proper BBQ.

UNTAMED ISN’T JUST A NAME.

It’s a promise we made to ourselves at the beginning of this year.

For years, we lived lives that looked right on paper. Good careers. Stability. Doing what we thought we were supposed to do.

But every day, we felt like we were becoming less of ourselves.

As an LGBTQ+ couple, we’ve both spent parts of our lives trying to fit into spaces that weren’t built for us. Smiling. Keeping the peace. Making ourselves smaller. Becoming versions of ourselves that felt more acceptable.

Eventually, that catches up with you.

For me, it broke me.

After more than a decade designing for global brands, I realised I’d become brilliant at telling other people’s stories while slowly losing my own.

One question kept going around in my head:

Do I keep sacrificing my morals and losing myself just to climb higher in my career… or do I finally walk away and put myself, mental health, family and my happiness first?

I took the leap.

And Untamed was born.

Not from a business plan.

From a decision that we would never apologise for who we are again. Never allow ourselves to be made to feel less than we are. Never let anyone tame us.

Every brisket we smoke. Every burger we serve. Every person who chooses to support us is helping build something that feels real.

To everyone who ordered food, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, stopped by to say hello, or simply believed in two local women chasing a dream…

Thank you.

This isn’t just our story anymore.

It’s becoming a community of people who believe in backing independents, celebrating authenticity, and proving that being different is something to be proud of.

We’re only just getting started. ❤️🔥

On Friday 31st July, we’re putting our smoked ribs to the test for a one-night-only Rib Night before deciding whether they earn a permanent spot on the menu.

Choose a feast for 2 or 4 people, loaded with:

🔥 Low & slow smoked ribs, Skin-on fries, , House slaw, Pickles, Homemade BBQ sauce

This is a limited seating event, so once the spaces are gone, they’re gone.
