The Royal Academy Summer is the world’s oldest and most prestigious open submission exhibition, held every year since 1769 and curated by a new Royal Academician each year. This years exhibition is curated by Ryan Gander, who founded .haus here in Suffolk. But guess what? Our very own Sam Walker, who designed New Street Market from top to bottom, has just been accepted into the exhibition! How proud are we?!?!?! Usually the exhibition attracts over 15,000 submissions, and it only shows less than 1000 - so this is a major honour, and one that Sam truly, truly deserves. The print that he’s cheerfully exhibiting here is called ‘Into The Woods’ and it will shortly be displayed here at New Street Market as well, alongside some more of Sam’s work. (In all honesty, we’ve been persuading Sam to hang his own work here for more than a year, and this is finally the moment we get to share it with you, so that’s exciting too!) Hats off to you Sam - you are amazing and we love you.

We're really pleased to be welcoming Dominic Bradbury to present his talk on the design impacts of Festival of Britain alongside our friends at Harry CJ Wix. We're also hosting our Dylan Legends night on Friday - we have a great lineup for this one, do not miss!
