takes 1st XI POTM with a superb 71 off just 56 balls, sharing a 104-run opening stand with (57*), as we beat Woking & Horsell by 7 wickets.
A top collective effort with the ball too, wickets shared between (2/20 off 9), (2/15 off 9), (3/25 off 8.2), and Matt Russell (2/36 off 9). Serious control and economy from the attack 👏baker.3 claims 2nd XI POTM with a composed 34, figures of 2/36 off 8, and a sharp catch in the field. Coming on at a crucial moment, G helped wrestle back control. scores his first league 50 of the season! Unfortunately, the 2s fell 18 runs short, but will look to bounce back against Merrow next Saturday.hughes84 starred with his first century of the season, an outstanding 110* off 94 balls. Well supported by our chairman (41), but the side finished 67 runs short of Hetairoi’s total.

🟢 POTM – Round 3 🟢
takes 1st Team POTM with a superb 4–27, bowling brilliantly and turning the game in our favour. The job was then finished off with 69 not out and 46 not out, the pair putting on a match-winning 108-run partnership to secure the win 🏏

claims 2nd Team POTM with a well-made 45 not out. Unfortunately, a few missed chances meant the game went in favour of Sheild CC 👏🏏

A special mention to Sheehan, who made his debut for the club taking 3 wickets for very few runs! He’s set to make his first league debut this weekend and we’re all looking forward to seeing him in action 🟢

Little River Cricket Club is thrilled to announce, Toby Zapp is joining our club this season!

Toby hails from England and plays in the First XI at the Ripley Cricket Club in the Surrey Championship. Toby will make his maiden journey to Australia to experience cricket down under, signing with the Redbacks for the 2026-27 season. A right-arm off spinner and a handy lower order bat.

Toby has taken 268 wickets with best figures of 6/26. Toby has also accumulated 1537 runs with a high score of 78 over his career.

We would like to officially welcome Toby and his partner Polly to our great club!

We’re excited to announce our Ripley Cricket Club Junior Summer Camp 🏏
📍 Venue: Ripley Cricket Club, The Green, Ripley, Surrey, GU23 6AR
📅 When: Monday 27th July – Friday 31st July
⏰ Time: 9am – 3pm daily
👥 Open to all abilities, ages 8 and onwards
Led by experienced coaches Tom Clover, Richard Zapp & Tom Garner, the week will include:
• Batting, bowling & fielding coaching
• Skill-focused training sessions
• Net practice
• Bowling machine work
• Fun games & competitions
• Match play on the square
💬 Perfect for young players looking to develop skills, build confidence and enjoy a full week of cricket!
