Not only is Shane an utter genius in the kitchen… turns out he’s pretty good at naming pizzas too 😁…

This weeks POW 💥 is fittingly named:

Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs ❤️😂

Spiced tomato base, herby meatballs, pork sausage, jalapeños, onion confit and crispy fried onions 😋

We also got a VERY exciting delivery today at Bear HQ! Our eco-friendly reusable cups …all ready for CAREW FEST 2026!!! The Carew Arms… July 24th, 25th, 26th - lock in the dates now for 3 days of banging music, great food and beer galore Black Bear Brewery…

In the meantime - it’s Thursday which means BOGOF on ALL pizzas ALL day when you eat in at the Bear (no need to book)…

Moules Moules Moules!

Back at it tomorrow with fresh Fowey mussels in really tasty world sauces… today was busy and we sold over half our stock… so I’d say get in before 3pm tomorrow if wanting mussels!

Very excited for tomorrow evening too - live music from Ollie Armitage from 6pm and the legendary Louis & the Iguanas from 8pm… yes yes.. the BIG ONE…

Outside bar will be in action (may even have a Beary rum punch on the go 😜) …

Also - would like to say a very big thank you to our H who has helped his mum with mussels every year for the last few… and he does it well!

🦪✨World Mussels weekend is back - for its 11th year (🤯)

Fresh Fowey Mussels cooked outside in the Bear garden in a choice of sauces inspired by various places around the world…

12pm - 5pm on Saturday AND Sunday … rolling straight into THE BIG ONE on Sunday evening… an early live music session from our local fave olliearmo_music from 6pm and the LOUIS AND THE IGUANAS 🦎 live from 8pm…

(dancing on the tables is not recommended but always happens anyway 😁)
