'I went for my Birthday meal with my partner. We were welcomed by a log fire and a very friendly member of staff.

We ate from the set menu and were not disappointed. The food was well presented and tasted very good. Everything, including the sides, are very generously portioned, making it great value for money.

We were well looked after throughout the night and also enjoyed the playlist which provided a nice backdrop to the evening.

Will definitely be coming again, and well worth a look if you like a good gastropub!'
