Well, we didn’t win last night, but I did win the flowers! 🌸😂

More importantly, I couldn’t be prouder of the Swan & Railway team for being picked in the Top 5 out of more than 100 businesses in our category. That is a fantastic achievement in itself! ❤️

But for me, the biggest achievement of the night was seeing how far Ali and Molly have come.

Ali has found her voice and grown so much in confidence, and Molly stepped up and did “Acting Landlady” on a busy night — not bad for an apprentice who, when she first started, it took me four shifts just to get her to take her jacket off! 😂❤️

There is no “I” in team, and we simply couldn’t run the Swan & Railway without every single person pulling together in the same direction.

I’m incredibly proud of every one of you.

We may not have won the award, but we’ve definitely won something more important — a brilliant team. ❤️🍺

Onwards and upwards! 🦢🚂
