Always a Guinness, a guitar, a song,and a Springsteen tune before very long.
Then our world went up 🔥 and the roof came down,
Our Joe got busy rounding up the town.
He sorted the gigs, the people, the lot,
While I stood there thinking, “Oh f**k. Now what?”
Eighteen grand he helped us raise.
How do you thank someone? There isn’t a phrase.
Now he’s number one on the songwriter chart,
But Joe, you were that from the start.
We’ll still make you queue when you come to the bar.
