Whether you're visiting in the height of summer or on a bracing winter's day, the Duncansby Stacks are a local highlight and should not be missed on your trip to Caithness!

The towering sea stacks are thousands of years old and are a short downhill walk from the parking area by Duncansby Head Lighthouse.

Our tips:
👟 Wear boots/sturdy trainers to cope with boggy ground underfoot
🌊 Extend your walk to Sannick Bay for a hidden gem of a beach, or follow the coast all the way back to John O'Groats
📸Take lots of photos and leave nothing but footprints!

Vilomah are dedicated to raising awareness about baby loss and providing compassionate support to those who have experienced it, no matter when it happened – before, during, or after birth. 🫂
Their goal is to help families in the Caithness and Sutherland area create lasting memories and find meaningful ways to honour and remember their lost babies.

Vilomah's Baby Loss Support Group is held on the last Tuesday of the month, from 7:30 to 9pm at the Haven Coffee Shop in Thurso, providing a safe and supportive space to connect with others who understand. Drop-in – no booking required.
