🍻 A proper pub, serving proper b**r and proper food!

As one of our customers said last night, “It’s a proper pub!” — and that’s exactly what we’re proud to be.

Owned and run by husband-and-wife team Faith and Antz, the John Bunyan is all about good b**r, hearty food and a friendly welcome.

No gastropub here — just your favourite pub classics, a full menu and a specials board, with food served six days a week, lunchtime and evening.

Booking is recommended, but walk-ins are more than welcome!

Come down, pull up a chair and enjoy a proper pub! 🍺🍽️

🌺 Remembrance at The John Bunyan 🌺

A heartfelt thank you to John, one of our bike stallholders and customers, for bringing this amazing remembrance sculpture to the pub. John made it in memory of his grandfather, and we are honoured to have it here for everyone to see until after Remembrance Sunday.

Please join us for our Remembrance service:
📅 Sunday 8th November
🕑 2pm
📍 The John Bunyan Pub
All welcome.

There is a little bench at the front of the sculpture, and we would love to fill it with painted stones in memory of all those we have lost.

Please invite your children, grandchildren, friends and family to paint a stone and bring it along to place on the bench. Everyone is welcome to take part and help create a special tribute.

Lest we forget. 🌺
