A charming, friendly olde world inn, The Ferry Tavern is light and airy in the summer and warm and welcoming in the winter. There is a large beer garden for summer drinkers and a roaring log fire for winter drinkers. Nestling on it's own island between the River Mersey and the St Helens canal it is in a unique position situated on the Trans Pennine Trail. Over a weekend enjoy our famous Fish and Chips
