🍽️ SUNDAY ROASTS AT THE SHIP INN! 🍽️

❤️ We’re gauging interest in bringing proper home-cooked Sunday roasts to The Ship Inn, so tomorrow we’re giving them a go! ❤️

We’ve been busy in the kitchen getting everything just right, and we’re really excited to share them with you! 😍

Think tender slow-cooked meats, golden crispy roast potatoes, fresh vegetables, rich homemade gravy and, of course, our enormous homemade Yorkshire puddings! 🤩

🥩 Slow-Cooked Roast Beef – £19
Beautifully tender beef, cooked low and slow until it practically melts in your mouth!

🍗 Succulent Roast Chicken – £18
Tender, juicy chicken breast, cooked to perfection.

🍖 Roast Ham – £18
Generous slices of delicious roast ham, served with all the trimmings!

Every Sunday dinner comes with:

Well, you lot have absolutely loved our giant Yorkshire puddings, so we thought we’d give you another proper winter warmer! 😍

🍕👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 THE SHIP INN HAS SOME BRAND NEW FULLY QUALIFIED PIZZA CHEFS!! 🎉🍕

WOW!! What a fantastic day we’ve had at our FIRST EVER KIDS’ PIZZA MAKING EXPERIENCE! ❤️

Toppings everywhere, some very serious little chefs hard at work and plenty of laughter along the way! 🤣🍕

From designing their very own pizzas to getting stuck in and making their masterpieces, every single one of them did an absolutely brilliant job! 👏

And the best bit? We enjoyed ourselves just as much as the kids did! 😂❤️

We did, however, make one rather big mistake…

📸 WE FORGOT TO TAKE PHOTOS!! 🤦‍♂️🤣

We were having that much fun that we completely forgot to photograph all those fantastic creations, apart from the one below!

So if any of you proud parents managed to get some pictures of your little chefs and their pizzas, PLEASE pop them in the comments! We’d absolutely love to see them! 📸🍕

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along today. It was an absolute pleasure having you all, and we genuinely hope the children enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed putting it on.

❤️ THE SHIP INN IS NOW AN OFFICIAL WARM HUB! ❤️

Following the recent storms and widespread power cuts, we’re pleased to announce that The Ship Inn, Greenodd is now working with Electricity North West as a warm hub for those affected.

🔥 The fire is on!
🌡️ The heating is on!
☕ The kettle is on!

If your home is still without electricity and you’re struggling to keep warm, please don’t sit at home in the cold.

Come down to The Ship Inn, where you’ll find a warm welcome, hot drinks and a comfortable place to relax while you’re waiting for your power to be restored.

❤️ We’ve also arranged with Electricity North West to provide hot meals for households affected by the power cuts.

If you’re still without power at home, please come and see us. We’re here to make things a little easier during what has been a difficult few days for so many people.

A massive thank you to Electricity North West for supporting this initiative and helping us look after our local community.

We might only be a little village pub, but sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. ❤️
