Been a bit bored today to be honest, so we thought we would ask AI to jazz up our updated June 'What's On' poster... safe to say the poster is pretty jazzy now!!

But the important thing is - we do have some really fun stuff lined up for June! 🍻🎶☀️

It’s gonna be HOT HOT HOT today ☀️🥵🍻

So really there’s only one sensible plan… get yourself to the Old Crown Uley for a refreshing drink or two to keep yourself hydrated 😎

We are open all day from 12 noon today serving drinks and of course our delicious, freshly prepared pub food - it’s perfect weather for a long lazy lunch, a cold pint, a chilled glass of wine or an afternoon just soaking up the sunshine ☀️

Great news - after today’s government announcement regarding a drastically reduced VAT for 'attractions' we have decided to develop The Old Crown Uley in a bold new direction 😂🎢🍻

Right then… hold my pint whilst we install ‘The Wobbly Stool of Doom’, rebrand the beer garden as an immersive adventure attraction, introduce pony rides on Claude and launch Gloucestershire’s first loop-the-loop Sunday roast experience!

Honestly though… surely being a beautiful little country pub in the Cotswolds with great food and drink, accommodation options and so much entertainment such as regular live music, quizzes, comedy nights, open mic evenings and themed events IS an attraction enough?

Come on Rachel - do something genuinely useful & constructive for hospitality and pubs - which are the backbone of communities and desperately need proper support, understanding and help. Recent figures suggest we are losing around two pubs a day this year....
