Although we don’t name b**rs for specific events like Halloween, we do have two very appropriate options in our regular range.

Apparition is our extremely popular stout (available on both cask and keg) and Scarecrow has been a great addition to our cask range this year as a session IPA.

This week we have our delicious ESB Galvanise back in stock for the autumn giving you a whopping ten cask b**rs from which to choose. 🍻

Welcoming our new Drayman, Simon 👋👋

It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the brewery, and this week we have our delicious Porter “Funky Claude” back on cask. We’ll be casking Galvanise in the next couple of days too. Having brewed a lot recently it will be a slightly quieter week with just a batch of our regular Pilsner in the schedule.

It’s the Spa Valley Railway b**r festival THIS weekend and we hope to find a bit of time on Friday to have a few b**rs and you’ll find quite a few from us at the festival too! 🍻

We were delighted to be part of the Hastings Tap Takeover this weekend and had a great time sampling some (not all) of the eleven b**rs the Jenny Lind were kindly able to put on.

Among them was our Green Hop b**r (first taste in the photo!) which you will note is absent from the lists after just a week. I do have two casks left though if you have somehow not remembered to order one!

We casked Funky Claude and brewed Galvanise last week to give our cask range a more seasonal flavour in the next couple of weeks.

All The World is Green, our 4.8% Green Hop IPA made with Chinook, is released this week, although if you haven’t pre-ordered you’ll need to get in sharpish. It’s tasting delicious.

And this coming weekend is the annual Hastings Tap Takeover which features 15 brewery takeovers over 15 venues including our good selves at the wonderful Jenny Lind.

It’s a great event and well worth a visit if you can. 🍻

This year we'll have 6 cask and 5 keg b**rs from the outstanding, and very local, microbrewery And Porter Ltd ; we've been ordering keg and cask from Robin and his team for well over 10 years now, come along and taste why!

What a line up!!

I’ve been saying how consistently solid our sales have been for a number of weeks, and clearly I shouldn’t have because last week was extremely quiet.

So, please help us out by ordering lots this week!

We brewed our Porter last week along with another batch of Helles and we need to brew fresh batches of Scarecrow, Jumping Frog and Skylarking to ensure we don’t run out.

Our new drayman Simon assisted with the brew of the Porter and is getting to know his way around our brewkit now. It’s extremely helpful to have another person with brewing experience as part of the team.

We have brewed this year’s Green Hop brew, as usual not on the intended day as it was too wet for picking on Tuesday. Chinook coped extremely well with the heat this summer and had enough water thanks to the farmer’s irrigation system (very rare in hop farms in our area).

This week we’ll be brewing our delicious Porter “Funky Claude” for the first time since the Spring. We have a fresh batch of A Night Like This just kegged, and we’ll be filling kegs of Luminary this week too.
