FROOK ready meals are now available at Speldhurst Community Shop — perfect for those evenings when you really don’t fancy cooking!
And there’s more… FROOK will be joining us for a tasting day on Saturday 3rd October, when they’ll also be bringing along their new vegetarian range for you to try.
Come along, have a taste and tell us what you think. Everyone’s welcome!
But you don’t have to wait until October — the meals are in store now. So if you don’t want to cook dinner tonight, pop in… we’ve got you covered! 😊

🎒 Doing your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award?

Speldhurst Community Shop is looking for local young people aged 14+ who need a volunteering placement for their DofE.

We can offer one hour a week after school, helping with a variety of useful jobs around the shop, such as tidying, cleaning and getting everything ready for the next day.

It’s a great way to complete your DofE volunteering section, gain some experience and support your local community.

Have you ever thought about writing down your memories? The people, places and experiences that have shaped your life?
Well, a new fortnightly group is starting here at Speldhurst Community shop called Whilst We Remember.
it's a chance to share memories, stories and experiences – and perhaps record them for future generations.
The first meeting is Tuesday, the 22nd of September 11 am – 12 pm, in Community Space. Plus it's FREE!
So whether you've got a lifetime of stories to tell, memories you'd love to share, or you'd simply like to listen – we'd love you to come along and be part of it.

We are so lucky to have a w**e expert who choses the w**e for our shop .
Jo lives right here in our village and has spent her career in the w**e industry. - from running a w**e shop in Hong Kong and buying w**es across Europe for Oddbins , to working as Head of Marketing for Codorniu, one of the worlds oldest sparkling w**e producers. Jo now runs W**e Savvy hosting w**e schools in Tunbridge Wells , Forest Row and Sevenoaks as well as private tastings (which are perfect for a celebration ! )
