A lovely, happy, smiley Kate — one of our wonderful volunteers — showing off our Love Where We Live 2026 finalist certificates!
We were delighted to be finalists for both Community Group of the Year and Green Business Award. A lovely bit of recognition for our little village shop and all the volunteers who help make it what it is.

Meet Lizzie! 👋
Lizzie is one of our lovely volunteers here at the shop. Many of you may know her from her days running the village nursery, so she’s already a very familiar face in the community.
She’s part of the brilliant team that helps keep our shop and Post Office running — and we’re always happy to welcome new volunteers.
If you fancy getting involved, meeting people and becoming part of the village team, come and have a chat with us. No experience needed, and training is provided.
We’d love to hear from you!

But for those of you who like to be organised early, we’ve got you covered. Our Christmas wrapping paper and gift bags and cards have already arrived in the shop.
And really, what’s wrong with a little early Christmas joy? If getting organised now means less rushing later, we’re all for it!
