Four years ago today, we picked up the keys to The Hawkins Arms… and what a ride it’s been!

There have been plenty of highs, a few challenges and more unforgettable moments than we could ever count. We’re incredibly grateful to our staff & everyone who has supported us and become part of our journey.

We’re so excited to see what the next year has in store—not only for us and the pub, but for the wider village too… we think you might like it.

Carlsberg are sponsoring the Redruth v Barnstaple rugby match on Saturday 19th September at Redruth Rugby Club and we have a limited number of hospitality tickets available.

We’re delighted to be welcoming Vanessa from Monarth Glass back for another of her brilliant Glass Workshops, and if you’ve joined us before, you’ll know just how much fun these evenings are!

Think relaxed atmosphere, plenty of laughs, a drink in hand and the chance to create your very own piece of glass art with Vanessa there to guide you along the way.

Never tried anything like this before? No problem at all. You don’t need any experience, just bring yourself, a little imagination and be ready to enjoy something a bit different!

From 8:30pm, we’re handing over the mic for a full-on DJ & Karaoke Night, whether you’re ready to belt out your favourite anthem, dance along from the sidelines or just enjoy watching your mates absolutely butcher a classic… this one’s for you.

Well… you lot clearly LOVE a bit of bingo! What a fantastic turnout for our first Proper Job Bingo Night at The Hawkins Arms, with over 30 of you joining us for an evening of dabbers, laughs and some VERY nice cash prizes!

We had such a brilliant night and, judging by the response, you did too… so we’ve decided BINGO IS HERE TO STAY!

We’ll now be bringing you a Bingo Night every month, no gimmicks, no complicated twists, just good old-fashioned proper bingo, a great atmosphere and cash prizes to be won!

And we know plenty of you do too, so allow us this slightly early festive post… because before we know it, December will be here and the party season will be in full swing!

We’re so excited to welcome Vanessa back to The Hawkins Arms for another of her fabulous Glass Workshops! ✨

These evenings are always such good fun, relaxed, friendly and full of creativity. Whether you’ve joined us before or you’ve never tried anything like this, Vanessa will be there to guide you as you get creative and make your very own glass piece.

Absolutely no experience is needed, just come along, have a laugh, enjoy a drink and see where your creativity takes you!
