We have a free entry album launch show coming up this Saturday and you should come…

The Other Women blew us away when they played at our other venue Things Happen Here and now you have a great chance to catch them playing two intimate sets at CLASH.

The band draw inspiration from alt guitar music such as The Sundays, Cocteau Twins, The Cranberries and Throwing Muses, as well as 60s singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and recently released their second album, All I’ve Ever Known.

The Other Women are playing two sets at 4 and 7pm with the album and merch available at the show.

The first set at 4 is right after Saturdays DART Market at CLASH-grab a drink, sit yourselves down and discover some great new music…

TOAST return to Things Happen Here on their first headline tour on Saturday October 10th…

TOAST are a genre-blending punk band that ooze charisma.
Powerful, tuneful, challenging and clear in vision as well as message. Fusing traditional punk values, the rage of a new age, and the attitude required to hold it altogether – TOAST are something truly unforgettable.

TOAST live shows are notoriously riotous, leaving their mark on venues and audiences all over the UK, and this tenacity has secured them exciting slots at major UK festivals, showcases and more as they blaze their way through the the UK and beyond.

The band played a fantastic support slot at Things Happen Here earlier this year and with new music on the way and a headline UK tour booked, TOAST are back and gearing up to take over the underground-get tickets from the link in our bio.

Get ready for the new DART Market this Saturday...

Our monthly market at CLASH is coming up this Saturday June 6th for the first time organised and curated by our neighbours at The Apricot Centre.

The DART Market will feature fresh fruit, veg, meat, cheese, bread, cake, flowers, books, crafts, street food and vinyl and is set to grow over the next few months into a monthly must visit community event.

Come along from 11, shop, have a drink at CLASH and browse through quality new vinyl at our Blackbird Collective vinyl stall, enjoy coffee, cakes at Luna’s or the Design Cafe and visit the new independent Cider Press businesses.

To tie in with the markets close at 4 we have our latest album launch show when The Other Women play two set at 4 and 7pm playing tracks from their new album ‘All I’ve Ever Known’. Pull up a seat after the market and listen to this excellent shoe gaze/dream pop band for free this Saturday.

Our vinyl expert Vicci will guide your cherished vinyl to the CLASH decks for all to enjoy! Why not stick around for our monthly taproom quiz in the evening from 7-9?

CLASH is open from midday - 9 with a selection of beers from some of our fave indie breweries and lots of other refreshing drinks plus food from The Big Kebabski and The Taccy Van.

Big screen and new projector tested-the World Cup at Things Happen Here is good to go!

We will be showing group games almost every day starting with the opening game and ceremony on Thursday June 11th, all the England games as well as knock out games right up to the final on Sunday July 19th.

Not meaning to blow our own trumpet but let’s do it, we have perhaps the biggest screen and selection of beers in TQ9 ready for you to enjoy the tournament. Golazo ⚽️

Coming up this weekend at Things Happen Here and CLASH…

Saturday at THH we have the Feet To The Floor DJs outside with a set of house, Afro, Latin and reggae from 3.30 and Bo Katan Disco outside on Sunday from 2 playing classic disco, funk, soul and gospel.

At CLASH on Friday we have one of our favourite DJs Sammy P from 7 playing a set of acid folk, Laurel Canyon classics and chilled grooves with Mexican food from The Taccy Van Friday and Saturday and the Big Kebabski Saturday and Sunday afternoon@top fanst’s our bring your own vinyl session (bring vinyl!) followed in the evening from 7 by our monthly taproom quiz, £2 per person entry with the pot to the winning team.
