Offshore is a busy cafe-bar by day and an exciting restaurant and live music venue by night. Situated in an envious location overlooking the harbour, Offshore has a hundred seats on the pedestrian area outside, so is perfect in the summer for al-fresco dining, and drinking. Offshore has a great choice on the menu, offering something for everyone. There are steaks, stone-baked pizzas, fresh seafood dishes, great vegetarian specials as well as a nice choice on the children's menu. On the bar is a good selection of wines, spirits, local ales and classic cocktails. The regular live music takes place between 10:00pm and Midnight, and features only the best artists and bands the Bay has to offer. The music is always lively and full of popular songs, but acoustic, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Consequently, whether you are simply meeting up for a drink and chat with old friends, or if you want to book a party in for a meal and maybe a dance after, this is the place for you.

There’s no need for the summer blues just yet… September evenings at Offshore are made for a great dinner, a few drinks and of course some live music!

160 years ago, one devastating night changed the course of lifesaving in Torbay.

In January 1866, a huge storm swept through the bay, wrecking around 60 vessels and claiming more than 70 lives. With no lifeboat station in Torbay at the time, a lifeboat had to be hauled overland from Teignmouth to help. Later that year, Torbay’s first lifeboat station was established.

This weekend, the RNLI marked 160 years since those events with the RNLI Gig Pull, retracing that remarkable journey through the local area, and we were very proud to see them pass Offshore on their way through Torquay.

It was made even more special when Brett was presented with a certificate, signed by the RNLI’s national Chief Executive, recognising Offshore’s fundraising through the Offshore & Bays Festival.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to have the support of our customers, team, musicians, Bays Brewery and everyone who has got involved with the festival over the years. It’s thanks to all of you that we’ve been able to raise money for a charity that has been part of life here in Torbay for 160 years.
