The tenth, and final pub on our "50 Shades of Ale" Green Trail is The Kings Arms,Thornford.

The pub stands next to an unusual red-brick Victorian clock tower, built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Inside is a traditional bar and a separate restaurant. Outside, there are pleasant seating areas and children's play facilities next to a large skittle alley. Guest ale news is posted weekly on Facebook, and regularly features beers from the likes of Palmers Brewery and Cerne Abbas Brewery . The car park is small but on-road parking is available. The station is a 15-minute walk away. Closed on Monday and Tuesday.
