On the Guest Ale pump this week we have Bath Gem!

This is an amber ale with an ABV of 4.1%. This ale has a rich aroma of hops and malt, and a long, deep, bittersweet finish.

Alongside Gem we have our house Ales: Palmers Copper; Fuller’s London Pride and St Austell’s Proper Job.

Live Music next Thursday. Join us on the 22nd of October at 8:00pm till 10:00pm for Jonathan Pianoman.

Jonathan has performed at The White Hart before, taken some time off music and now he is back with his ranging set list with hits from Billy Joel; Elton John; Cat Stevens and more.

As his stage name suggest, he is a vocals who also plays the piano, while engaging with and added members of the crowd into the songs.

October’s Open Mic!

Starting at 6:00pm and going till close (9:00pm) we have our open mic. We host our Open Mics on the Second Sunday of the month, which is this evening.

John will be hosting and organising the acts that are preforming, sound provided and engineering by our very own Bakerman Dan.

Come down to listen or speak to John who will be pointed out if you would like to perform a number or 2.

On the guest ale we have Exmoor’s Stag.

This is a naturally strong bitter at 4.8%. This is a full-bodied copper-coloured ale which was first brewed to celebrate Somerset County Cricket Club’s centenary year. Stag was so well received, it became part of Exmoor’s core range.

Along side Exmoor’s Stag, we have the house ales of Palmers Copper; Fuller’s London Pride & St Austell’s Proper Job.

October’s Cocktail of the Month!

For the month of October we are offering Rise of the Zombie as the Cocktail of the Month. This is a wh***ey based cocktail with Apple Juice with a layer of Ruby Port. Order one during Halloween week for a spooky addition.

We have cocktails with the main five base spirits being: Rum, Vodka, Gin, Wh***ey and Tequila. Other cocktail on our menu include Espresso Martini, Tom Collins & Daiquiri .

Each month we will change the Cocktail of the Month to celebrate that month, we will post each month promoting the cocktail or ask a member of staff about it. If you are also lucky we may still be offering previous month’s Cocktail of the Month while stock lasts.

OPEN MIC:
Starting at 6:00pm and going till close (9:00pm) we have our open mic. We host our Open Mics on the Second Sunday of the month. Open mics will now return inside the pub but there is plenty of tables that remain for listeners, performers or drinkers

John will be hosting and organising the acts that are preforming, sound provided and engineering by our very own Bakerman Dan.

Come down to listen or speak to John who will be pointed out if you would like to perform a number or 2.

LIVE MUSIC:
Thursday 22nd of October - we have our monthly live music. Returning we have Jonathan’Pianoman’. He will be performing from 8:00pm till 10:00pm with a short intermission.

Jonathan has performed at The White Hart before with his ranging set list with hits from Billy Joel; Elton John; Cat Stevens and more.

As his stage name suggest, he is a vocals who also plays the piano, while engaging with and added members of the crowd into the songs.

Dan will be opening the kitchen, offering evening meals that can be order before or during the evening’s entertainment.

On our Guest Ale this week, we have Cheddar Ales’ Hardrock.

This cask conditioned pale ale of 4.4%. It’s a light gold, very hoppy pale ale with spicy herbal notes and a floral citrus finish.

Along side Cheddar Ales’ Hardrock we have our House Ales: Palmers’ Copper, Fuller’s London Pride and St Austell’s Proper Job.

New Autumn & Winter Menu!

Dan has started the new Autumn & Winter Menu this week. The new menu has been refined into sections including a selection for Burgers & Pub Classics.

We have kept the popular choices of Smashed Beef Burger, Fish & Chips and the return of Hunters Chicken. Some new dishes include Duck Confit which has been a special in the past, Lamb Rump & Venison Sausages. Some of the dishes have a Vegetarian or Vegan option available, other dietaries, allergies or intolerances will be able to be catered for by speaking to a member of staff before booking/ ordering your meal.

Wednesday - Closed BUT Pizzas Available

This golden ale full of freshness has an ABV of 4.5%. This is a less hoppy, thirst quenching and zesty ale. With blend of malted barley and wheat make this a very drinkable ale from Dorset
