Our fridges are chilled, stocked, and ready to go! 🧊🥤 We've got loads of ice-cold drinks on board to keep all the amazing students refreshed during today's Colour Run. 🌈☀️
And don't worry, grown-ups... our chiller is working overtime too, so we'll have plenty of lovely cold pints waiting for you! 🍺🍻

Today is our annual colour run, which begins at 4.30pm. Tickets are on parentpay up until midday, and then are available on the door.
Alongside the run itself, there will also be a BBQ, sweet stall, licensed bar and live music, so we hope you'll enjoy what promises to be a lovely summer evening with the Thirsk School community.
With temperatures forecast to reach around 30°C, we would also appreciate all those coming doing the following:
-Arrive with a filled water bottle and drink plenty of water before and after the event.
-Wear lightweight clothing, suitable trainers and, if they wish, a hat.
-Apply sun cream before arriving.
-Most importantly, remembering that this is a fun community event rather than a race. There is absolutely no expectation that everyone should run the course. In fact, for many participants, a "Colour Walk" may be the best way to enjoy the afternoon while staying comfortable in the heat. We would much rather see smiling faces than exhausted runners!
As always, staff and first aiders will be on hand throughout the event, and we will continue to monitor the weather closely.
